This condo is as advertised. Perfect size for a family or two. Very short walk to ski in / ski out and Purgy’s bar at the base. Fantastic views of the mountains! You can tell this is somebody’s actual condo and not a corporate rental because it was very well outfitted with kitchen wares and tons of games and personal touches.
Loved the extra touches - enough of the basics (paper towels, TP, coffee filters, coffee) to get you through a day or two until you can make a store run. Also, Mitch, living room and dining room table all are spacious and well proportioned for their purposes. Also property manager very responsive - we had a minor repair needed and it was fixed the same day - and available to answer questions when needed.
Very nice comfortable condo, great communication with property mgmt who took care of a couple issues that came up very quickly. Kitchen and bathrooms well stocked. The "short walk" is not that short with ski equipment so we drove to the Purg parking lot but it was a minor inconvenience. Would stay again.
Great stay. There was 6 guys and we all felt like we had plenty of room. Nice kitchen to cook meals, 2 and a half bathrooms. When its time to go to ski our door was a 5 minute walk to the main lift. I would recommend the place to any family or small group of friends. At night it was very quiet with a couple restaurants/bars very close drive if you want.
Booking and checking in was seamless. The kitchen was fully equipped to prepare homemade meals for my family. Everyone had their own space’, yet the layout was perfect for our family gatherings and being together.
All of our family and friends loved it! Great place to stay! Property manager just a phone call away 👍

Poor Maintenance & Sketchy Property Mgmt
Overall, it is very apparent the property management and owners are trying to get every penny out of this rental. The rental contract was acceptable, but after I signed the contract they sent me an email with "check-in/out instructions" with threats of more fees for things like leaving the property for the day and taking the key with you. Apparently, expecting privacy during your stay is not acceptable. Their welcome email tries to change the terms of their own contract by tacking on additional fees after the contract is signed. That would be like me sending an email with demands for refunds that were not called out in the contract. It's not legal or ethical. Also, here is a partial list of the maintenance issues at the property:
1. 2 tvs don’t work in bedrooms.
2. No fly screen on master bedroom window. Window can't be left open, so it's HOT w/out AC.
3. Master shower door doesn’t close completely. Glass hits glass. This is a shattered door and injury waiting to happen.
4. Balcony windows have no shades, so privacy is nil and the heat and glare of the morning sun is not enjoyable.
5. Master toilet clogs very easily, plunger provided and was needed repeatedly. Toilet seat is also loose.
6. Downstairs smells like cat.
7. They advertise that it sleeps 10, but there aren’t enough towels or toilet paper to handle large groups for more than a night.
8. Dishwasher doesn’t work.
9. Check out expectations are overboard, again not addressed in the contract.
10. Carpet is worn and dirty.
11. Bedroom photography is suspect... the rooms are quite small.

We are so disappointed by this review. We in no way are trying to take advantage of our guests. We ask that keys are left in the lock box because if there is an emergency (like a fire or serious maintenance issue) we could need to use that key to get in the home. We never enter the unit while guests are present without their knowledge and consent. If the key is lost then yes, there is a fee to the guest as you lost the key and it would need to be replaced. That is just common sense that any company would charge for. Many of these issues you expressed could have been addressed easily while you were here if you would have called us. We could have sent maintenance to look at TVs, we could have told you where extra towels or linens were, we could have checked the toilet. We provide a full list of what is at the home ahead of time like the amount of TP. We asks that guests start one load of towels before leaving and this is very common in vacation rental check out lists. All other items are simple and in no way "overboard" like making sure you lock the door. Our photos are true to our listing and show exactly what the home is like. We are sorry you assumed sizing that was not correct but that is not our fault and we do list the square footage of the home. In the future you should probably ask more questions and really look at the details of the property you are renting so you can have an enjoyable stay.
The house was great! It had everything we could think of that we needed for our stay! Will be back for sure

Gorgeous country!
Very nice resort! Great food on site & plenty to do for fun. We loved the location between Durango & beautiful Silverton! The drive to Silverton is fabulous! Great place to stay!
This was a great location if you are looking for peace and quiet in the mountains and a great location to Go into Durango and Silverton. Would stay here again. Take fans in the summer though if you are hot natured as there is no central AC and it does get warm in afternoon and I like to be nice and cool at night when I sleep. They do have a couple of ceiling fans and one box fan. By no means was it Hot but wish I’d have paid attention to what “mountain air conditioning” meant. Overall though a great place and would recommend this place.
Overall a pleasant stay. condo is in great location and easy access for the region.
Unit was very clean, very well equipped for our stay and very comfortable.
We arrived late at night (>9:00) and had some difficulty locating unit in the dark.
"Mountain AC" was new experience for our group as our visit coincided with a heat wave in the region.
First floor was very cool and comfortable but 2nd floor cooled much slower - after first day the 2nd floor was more comfortable.
The condo was great! I stayed there with my family and another family of four, eight total. There was plenty of room for all of us. The views out of the balcony were so pretty. The kitchen is fully equipped and had what we needed to make our meals. Loved that they supplied full size shampoo, conditioner, lotions, etc. I would definitely stay there again.
This was exactly what we had hoped in a ski vacation. The property manager was very helpful and responsive to our questions... The property was very well cared for, clean and just as we hoped from viewing the listing! I would recommend for sure!
Beautiful home with all the amenities. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay there again!
