Almond villa is a two story luxury villa (120 sq/m), situated in a 600 sq/m beautiful private garden, with two bedrooms (one on each floor) which provides great accommodation for 4 – 6 persons.
On the ground floor there is an open plan living and dining area with sofa (which transforms easily into a regular double bed), satellite 48” LCD TV, DVD player, HiFi (with Bluetooth), free WiFi internet and fully equipped modern kitchen with fitted oven, fridge, coffee maker, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine etc.
Thanks to the uniquely designed full glass frontage of the living area you have direct access to the patio and the pool area as well as fantastic sea views. Next to the kitchen is the bedroom with two single beds (which can be joined together to make a regular king size double bed with no middle gap), also with direct access to the patio, and a modern bathroom with very spacious shower and WC.
The first floor has timber-lined cathedral ceilings and consists of a large bedroom with a double bed, enormous wardrobe, big balcony with breathtaking sea views and large bathroom with bathtub and WC.
All the rooms are air-conditioned and there are insect screens as well as electric sun blinds and electric roller shutters in both bedrooms for sun protection and complete darkness in the night.
The house offers a beautiful subtropical garden, a pool area with sun beds and umbrellas, a big patio with garden furniture and a BBQ area.
Private parking is also provided. All verandas, the balcony and the whole pool area have magnificent sea views.

Beautiful Villa

Such a beautiful Villa. The garden is truly one of the best we have ever stayed in & the pool was just right temperature wise. The views, one side the sea & the other side the mountains is spectacular. Inside the Villa is modern, clean & very comfortable with everything you need for a great stay. Added bonus of Netflix & several global tv channels. View from the upper balcony is amazing. Area is great, a few walkable places to eat & a little further a field some of the best beaches on the island. Really can't think of any negatives.

Beautiful villa with a stunning view

We really enjoyed our stay on Almond Villa. It was spacious, immaculate clean and very comfortably and thoughtfully furnished. We had a lot of space for the whole family. The bedrooms were big, with comfortable beds and plenty storage space. The bathrooms were big and well oganised. The kitchen has everything for cooking, including the dishwasher. There was plenty of dishes and utensils, also condiments and cleaning products. The garden and the pool were very well maintained - very green, with a shady terrace where we had breakfast with a view. The views were also stunning, especially sunsets. We didn't use the pool much, as it was a bit fresh in october, but it was a perfect size, with sunbeds around and also very clean. There was a barbecue as well. There was a parking space behind the house, enough for two cars. Communication with the owner was very easy, Harry was very friendly and helpful and ready to come anytime to solve anything. We liked Lefkada island very much. Although we were off-season, we found plenty of places to eat in the neighbourhood, we enjoyed not crowded beaches and mild weather.

Beautiful Villa

Almond Villa is every bit as beautiful, clean and luxurious as the photos indicate. The pool, views and the care and attention from the owner are all exceptional. The villa's location is ideal too, easy walking to a choice of tavernas but in a quiet lane and with privacy.

Great villa, great views

We loved our 10 days at Almond Villa and didn’t want to leave. It’s one of the best villas we have stayed in; it’s so well laid out, spotlessly clean, comfortable with amazing views and of course the beautiful gardens and swimming pool. Harry the owner is very helpful and kept in contact throughout the holiday in case we needed anything. We were offered a change of clean towels and sheets halfway through our holiday. This villa has the benefit of being within easy walking distance of a couple of local shops and tavernas. Thanks Harry for letting us stay in your beautiful villa. We would love to come back one day. Excellent villa with a fabulous garden

Almond Villa proved to be an excellent choice for our feeling-a-little-guilty holiday in Lefkada. The guilt came from the UK government’s legal but don’t go advice about travelling to amber-listed Greece. All this led to some uncertainty about our travel plans, but Harry, the owner of Almond Villa, remained laidback throughout. The standout feature of the villa was the immaculately-tended Mediterranean garden around a generous-sized pool. The villa has two large bedrooms with an open-plan living room/dining room. The kitchen adequately equipped for simple meals. Internet access was fast and reliable. Of the three tavernas in the village, just one called Verandah was open. This served standard Greek fare with generous portion sizes. 6 km away, Agios Nikitas, offers a wide variety of eating places, of which we thought Maestros, run by Harry’s cousin, was the best, largely because it offers vegetarian and vegan options. We’d also recommend Rachi in Exanthos, about 10 km away, which offers fine dining in the clouds at very reasonable prices. Overall, we had a thoroughly enjoyable stay in Lefkada and would strongly recommend Almond Villa.

Beautiful villa, excellent sea views, great location

This villa is beautifully presented and Harry the villa owner was a pleasure to deal with. The villa has excellent sea views and is very private. There are a couple of villas that can be seen from the garden and pool but they are far enough away and were no problem in terms of 'being overlooked'.

Beautiful villa with great views and a lovely garden

Very well appointed villa with beautiful views and garden in a peaceful setting. Only 3 km (twisty hairpins) from stunning but still quiet beaches. Harry was a perfect host - not pushy but spot on with local restaurant recommendations when asked. We had a wonderfully relaxing week, plenty to do on Lefkada but happily stayed in the villa all day. Thanks and hope to come back soon.

Beautiful villa

After a week of sailing around the Ionian Islands, we have had a superb week at Almond Villa. It is in a stunning and quiet location and proved to be a great spot to enjoy a week of sun, pool and relaxation for the whole family (we have a 9 year old and 11 year old). The girls loved it so much it was hard to persuade them to leave to explore the nearby beaches (all very pretty but be prepared to brave some hairy hair pin bends to get to them!) The Villa has been well thought through to provide a comfortable and easy stay. It is also spotless and well maintained. Harry was on hand for any queries and provided a change of towels half way though the week. A 3 minute walk brings you to the village which is small but has a couple of mini marts with all the necessities. A grill house is great for take away pita gyros and there are also a couple of decent tavernas at the far side of the village. Other reviews have mentioned the sound of dogs barking in the distance, but we heard nothing. We have no hesitation in recommending this comfortable villa with stunning views and hope to return again some time soon!

Absolutely perfect - Almond villa delivered on expectations and more

Our family of four enjoyed a wonderful week in Almond villa. After an exhilarating week sailing around Lefkada, Almond villa provided a perfect base to relax and explore the beaches and mountains. The villa feels crisp, modern and very comfortable. Everything is well maintained and very clean so settling in is easy. Each bedroom has an adjacent bathroom and its own patio area through sliding doors so feels quite private. There are stunning views from the garden and the first-floor balcony where we spent a few evenings with a sundowner watching the sunset and star gazing. The garden is delightfully landscaped and as well looked after as the rest of the villa. Harry and his wife were lovely and attentive. Kalamitsi is an unspoilt village which has enough facilities for visitors, 3 restaurants including a good value grill /gyros and 2 mini supermarkets but is not overrun by tourists quite the opposite in fact. Kalamitsi beach and Athani beach are truly stunning and the best beaches I have seen in the Med, though both only accessible by car via a narrow cliff-hugging road, which can be nerve-wracking but so worth it and apart from Sundays not crowded. Yes the sea is really that blue and the beach looks like a permanent glossy photo shoot. We also explored the mountain villages again on hairpin roads but you are rewarded with breathtaking views over the valley and sea. I thoroughly recommend staying here to experience a relaxed and authentic slice of Greece

Clean, smart, spacious and comfortable villa with well kept garden and outstanding views out to sea.

Harry and his family, the owners, live nearby and are always helpful and considerate. The house is within an easy 5 minute walk of the village which has at least two shops for food supplies including fresh fruit and veg, wine etc. Kalamitsi also has three cafes with two more just outside it. There are more shops and restaurants a few miles away in neighbouring villages including Aghios Nikitas (the biggest resort on this part of the island) . From the villa there is a choice of three really stunningly beautiful beaches at the bottom of the cliffs - a steep two miles drive - and there's plenty of other beaches nearby. We had a fabulous time in the villa, in the water, walking the hills (get a walks book and map) and exploring the inland villages too-be prepared for rugged winding roads but it's worth trying each plane treed village square and café!!

Simply the best...........

This is the best quality villa we've stayed at in all our visits to the Greek Islands (and there have been quite a few!). Our two weeks there were totally relaxing and just what we were looking for. The pool is lovely and the views from the back garden down to the sea are just perfect. Inside the villa, there's everything you could want and it's all good quality stuff. The villa's on the edge of Kalamitsi village and so it's a gentle 3 minute walk to the tavernas and we enjoyed great food and wine most evenings. If only the hunting dogs from the other side of valley didn't bark! - it's such a beautiful, peaceful location - but there's not a lot the owners can do about that and anyway, they didn't bark all the time and once the doors were closed at night, there was nothing to be heard inside the villa. We had a thoroughly enjoyable stay and if we were to return to Lefkada, we'd definitely want to stay at Almond Villa. Harry and Šárka are great hosts!

Relaxing holiday in a most beautiful villa

We stayed one week in May 2017 in this beautiful villa and had a wonderful time. It is located in the quiet part of the village but in a walking distance from the local restaurants and shops. The villa is very modern and clean, equipped with everything one could need. The garden is absolutely beautiful and very well maintained (it was the first time we have seen in Greece a rental villa with such a large and well maintained garden). The owner and his wife were very friendly and helpful with all we needed. We had a great time and are looking forward to come back. Beautiful villa and garden

The villa is spacious and comfortable and the pool, garden and view enchanting. All you could wish for. A great location on the edge of a small village and 10 minute drive from a stunning beach. Fantastic holidays in peaceful surrounding with absolute privacy

We (familiy of 5) spent a fantastic holiday in the beautiful almond villa at Kalamitsi and it was just better than expected! The almond villa is located in a great and very peaceful surrounding overlooking the sea, in the little nice village Kalamitsi and we really loved the complete privacy. The villa is spotless clean, you find there everything you need and the villa is treated as the owner Harry would live there himself. Especially the garden is so lovely and treadet well, we never found this before in a holiday villa! Harry gave us also very good advices for restaurants, beaches and nice places, and we were really sad, when we had to leave. So we just can recommend warmely the almond villa to everyone who loves the tranquility and privacy in a exclusive holiday villa.

Just perfect!

It is not very often you find a house that exactly delivers what it promises. Villa Almond just did that for us. Everything was well taken care for and we loved the cleanliness and modern design of the villa. The village certainly is a positive asset, it makes you feel at home for the duration of your stay. And for the rest - Lefkada has everything you want for a summerholiday. We left this morning and we miss it already!

Peace of heave

This is the best holiday house we've ever seen! We would like to stay more than a week because all was perfect! An amazing place, superb design, very clean, discreet service up to the level of a 5 stars hotel, beautiful view. Loved it!!! We are very happy to have found such warm hospitality. if you´re still wondering whether to book this villa - just do it! We´ve spent 2 wonderfully relaxing weeks at this beautiful home from home! Every morning we strolled to Kalamitsi to collect what we needed for breakfast - there are two small supermarkets just a short walk away and you even get homemade honey and olive oil in the village. Agios Nikitas is a few minutes drive by car and great for dinner right on the sea front - and the cocktail afterwards! The villa itself is perfectly kept, bright, clean and very charming! In a nut shell: a perfect villa in a perfect location (don´t miss Egremni beach)! Thank you so much to our lovely hosts - we loved to be your guests!

Splendid holiday

Beautiful place to stay

A private villa with fantastic views up in a mountain village. What you need to know is that the pictures of this villa are the real thing. Modern living with everchanging views. We stayed a week travelled around the whole island (probably takes about 4 to 5 hours) and visited the Waterfalls near Nidri (free to get in) which are worth a visit but steps and stones to climb over. Also worth a visit if you like a beautiful beach is Egremni with breathtaking crystal sea and a long beach but be warned you\'ll need to climb down 350 steps which is not so bad going down but tough coming back up! Would say that you need a car or scooter to get around as the nearest beach is about 3km. Don't miss out on Agios Nikitas - it's a pretty little village with really nice tavernas. This villa has it all and to top it all make sure you enjoy the wonderful air display by the cheeky swifts who fly down to the pool to drink and have a bath (whilst in flight) - its fantastic!!! Thanks to the owners for their care and attention and they really are nice people. We can honestly say that it isn't too good to be true so we hope you have a lovely holiday just like we did.

Fantastic place

In the summer of 2010 we have spent a fantastic weekly holiday in Almond villa. It is a modern villa with excellent facilities set within an almond field overlooking the Ionion sea. All the rooms in the villa including the bathrooms were spacious and very clean and the kitchen was fully equipped providing us everything we needed. Every morning we enjoyed our breakfast on the patio overlooking the pool area and the sea. All the windows and French doors had mosquito screens, so we could feel the cool of the evening without getting bitten. The owners were very friendly and helpful, providing all the needs, and doing all their best to offer us the most pleasant holiday we could have. It was one of our more memorable holidays and certainly money well spent. We highly recommend this villa to everybody who wants to have beautiful relaxing holidays.

Best honeymoon ever

Truely wonderful holiday

We had a two week stay in September 2010 in this villa. It is a very elegant, modern and stylish villa where you can see much care and attention for the details. There are two large and spacious bedrooms with their own bathrooms and fully equipped kitchen which has everything you could possibly need. The villa is in excellent condition and very clean. Each room in the house is designed to take full advantage of the stunning sea view and sunset which can really take your breath away. Also the terrace, pool area and the large garden is quite simply spectacular. The villa owners were very nice and helpful and the service was excellent. Romantic sandy beaches are just a short drive away. We had a wonderful stay at Almond villa, it was all and more than we expected. The villa is simply beautiful and luxurious and has all the amenities one would need. Already recommended this villa to our friends & family. Hope to visit it again soon.
