About this property

Country home with a view of green fields

New renovated cosy apartment connected to our house in a country side where you can unplug and unwind explore country life quietness and privacy.
We can accommodate 4 adults. In the bedroom we have king size bed. In the sitting room we have comfy couch which makes double bed also. Apartment is pretty spacious, clean and decorated with my own art work. In the sitting room we also have stove which can be fire lighted if guests want to. Our home is surrounded with many historical places like Kennedy Park, Tintern Abbey beautiful gardens the oldest Light House in Europe the Hook Head and many more places to see.
Anyone are welcome to stay here and enjoy your brake. We will be happy to host you :-)! We will host you with love and care but in return will ask respect our home. People who abuse alcohol and cause chaos won’t be tolerated!!!! Police will be called and reservation will be cancelled.
Our prices include all fees. No hidden fees.

Lovely, Quiet, and Clean Home

Inga was the most wonderful and welcoming host. Her home was lovely, beautifully decorated, and very clean. She has thought of everything! She met us and showed us around, which we appreciated. We also had a nice visit outside with her dog, Boris, who was adorable! Our stay was peaceful and just right for our family of four. I highly recommend this location!

here as part of heading to the west coast. It was a greag location, stunning views out the windows. The place itself is well maintaned and we felt at home. The fact the host got the fire going before we arrived was an amazing bonus and much appreciated

Perfect location if you’re going to Smokin Soul

Great accommodation, in great condition. All mod cons (no microwave).Inga was great, even had a fire lighting for us on arrival! It is a bit off the beaten track but only 8 mins drive from Smokin Soul. Overall experience - excellent.

Welcome to Ireland!

Inga met us upon our arrival and gave helpful suggestions on things to do locally. The couch was very comfortable and the wood burning stove was most welcome on a cold night!

Wish I could have stayed longer!

Can't say enough positive things about the place and our lovely host Inga :) Location was beautiful, could not ask for better. Inside, absolutely immaculate and had everything you could ask for. There was a warm fire roaring when we got in and we were greeted by an even warmer person! My wife and I cooked a delicious meal in their well equipped kitchen. The bedroom was perfect, could have slept all day. This place is worth everything and then some. Hated to leave. Thank you for having us Inga :)

Lovely country apartment

The place was clean and warm at night. The kitchen had everything we needed for meals during our stay. We had a small issue with a sink and the owners quickly dealt with it and it did not affect our stay. The site says you are in New Ross but you are actually 15 minutes south. This made it a nice location to go to Kilkenny in an hour, Waterford in 35 minutes, and Kilmore Quay in about 40 mintes. We even made the Rock of Cashel in a little over an hour. There were also many sights in a 10 minute drive and great food takeout place in Campile only 10 minutes away. Inga was a very nice host. I would stay here again if I traveled to this area.

Rustic Charm

We enjoyed our stay here some distance from New Ross. On our arrival we were welcomed by the owner, a very friendly Inga, who showed us around the apartment and suggested activities and places to visit. The apartment was warm, clean and well-appointed. The firewood provided was particularly welcome and used during our stay! Little extras were provided – quality shampoo and soap, tea, coffee, condiments. Both the TV and Internet worked well. We were able to park right outside the apartment which was handy. The area is so quiet – a welcome change from living in cities! Inga suggested a wonderful fish restaurant, The Hollow Bar and Seafood Restaurant, where we enjoyed a great meal. Her suggestion to visit the oldest working lighthouse in Europe, Hook Head, and Tintern Abbey were also highlights. Future guests would benefit from some more paving at the front entrance so mud is not transported onto the floor during wet weather. The photos of the apartment on the website do not do justice to this lovely stay! Thank you Inga for having us as your guests.

Wir haben uns wie "zuhause" gefühlt und konnten uns nach unserem Tagesprogramm herrlich entspannen. Traumhafte Ruhe und Naturnähe schenkten uns die größtmögliche Erholung. Ein schön angelegter Garten vor dem Haus, eine hübsche Kuhherde nach der Terrasse und dem Hanggarten hinter dem Haus, entdeckungsreiche Spazierwege rund um das Haus, ab und zu kochen daheim - einfach schön! Das "Sahnehäubchen" waren die wunderbaren selbstgemalten Bilder von unserer Gastgeberin Inga an den Wänden, z.B. von ihrem liebenswürdigen Hund Boris. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in Campile, die Hook-Halbinsel, Sehenswürdigkeiten in New Ross, Wexford, Waterford, Kilkenny, Dunbrody Abbey, Inistioge, ... mit dem Auto in nicht allzu langer Zeit erreichbar. Schwimmen, Reiten, Golfspielen, Bergwandern, mit dem Schiff fahren - alles war möglich, was wir uns erträumt hatten. Dazu immer wieder mal ein Zufallsgespräch mit einem Iren auf der Straße oder in einer Kirche. Ein guter Mix aus Natur, Kultur, Bummeln, Faulenzen, Genießen. Inga, unsere Gastgeberin und ihre Familie waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Sie hat die Ferienwohnung gut ausgestattet, geschmackvoll und gemütlich eingerichtet.

Schönes Apartment im Grünen

Die liebevoll eingerichtete Wohnung ist Teil des Hauses der Vermieter und Inga hat uns sehr nett empfangen. Wir haben die ruhige Lage genossen und konnten viele schöne Ausflüge machen. Im nahen Campile gibt es gute Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und sogar ein schönes kleines Gartencenter. Besonderer Tipp: Colclough Gardens und auf der Fahrt nach Waterford die Fähre von Ballyhack nach Passage East nehmen. Die Töpferei Mosse in Bennettsbridge mit reizenden Café und der tolle Strand in Duncannon mit Atem Fort sind sehr lohnend. Fish and Chips haben uns wunderbar geschmeckt bei East Pier in Dunmore East, einem besonders hübschen Fischerort.
