Everything was great! There was enough room to fit us all comfortably and so many bathrooms was a big bonus.We had so much fun exploring the local area, just a short drive away.We had a beautiful view of the lake with a short walk down to the dock that had a swing on it! Some of us even enjoyed fishing in the little shed on the water.We came in the winter time, but can’t wait to come back in the spring or summer. Our host was so thoughtful they even had it decorated for Christmas!

Hi!Can I just say that this place is amazing?! The house decor is spot on with the theme of lake getaway. The host was very responsive to questions and answered all my questions prior to arrival and while we were there. We went for a weekend getaway after the holidays with our 4 kids and they were all fighting over who got to sleep in the loft. There were plenty of rooms and bathrooms for all of us. In fact, there was a bed for everyone. It was so nice and cozy that no one asked for us to turn the TV on. They were constantly exploring something. The highlight was fishing off the heated boat slip during the winter. Would love to come back during the spring/summer to catfish at night. We enjoyed the small town feel of the surrounding areas and the idyllic shopping. The kids liked the pizza place in town called Goodfellas. I enjoyed the tea bar at the Local Farm to Table. My husband liked the One Eyed Monkey for a good burger. We could have spent more time at Har-Ber Village but did not plan to enjoy it that much! We randomly stopped by the Legacy of Liberty Memorial Park (almost could walk to it). The stories and equipment there are a sight to see. They even have a Higgins boat! What a wonderful getaway without the stress of the big city. We will definitely be back!

We love going to interesting places. The setting is so important. Whether the lake, the mountains or the wilderness, having the right spot is key. This house checks all the boxes.

Why they chose this property

We chose this house because of it's excellent location. It's on the water. Has a covered dock with a boat slip and indoor fishing. It is literally across the street from the airport. How convenient. The par 3 golf course is also across the street and Shangri La Resort and 18 hole course just around the corner. Tons of stuff to do right here.

What makes this property unique

The house is in great shape and is a perfect perch to launch for your days activities on the island and lake as well as simply hang out and enjoy the vibe and watch the water. The cove is also a great spot for paddle boarding, kayaking and playing around.
