Great hosts, very helpful and nice to communicate with. House has a nice layout, plenty of room for the family. And about 35 minutes from Legoland, the San Diego zoo and sea world. We had a great time and would rent again.

The space was great for our large party of 10. I sent multiple photos to the owners about issues with the house that needed attention (leaky plumbing, wear and tear on doors/floor/furniture).

Our stay was awesome! The fact that there were 5 bedrooms was incredible. All of us felt like we had the ability to have our own privacy when we needed it while also feeling close and personal. Some of the rooms get pretty warm (even with the window open) due to no ceiling fans so I would encourage you to bring a small fan if you have one. Overall our stay was 5/5!

Nice property. Steep driveway could be a challenge with multiple cars. Main issue was host totally unresponsive. I message about a couple of minor issues, no response. My brother-in-law accidentally left a couple of bathing suits in the dryer. Messaged and called to try and retrieve before they left town 2 days later. Response has been less than helpful with no resolution in sight over a week later.

The house has a great layout (5 bedrooms) for a group or family but is poorly maintained. Patio furniture was unusable, driveway is cracked and falling off to the side, the front door is battery operated and it failed during our stay requiring a locksmith to come while we waited in the sun on a very hot day. After the locksmith picked a lock on a garage door, we were able to enter and replaced the batteries in the front door ourselves. The hall bathroom shower leaked. The bedding was good and beds were comfortable. As the house is older we missed having enough outlets in the rooms to plug phones etc in. The reason it is well priced is that with 5 bedrooms it can hold a lot of people spreading the cost out. The kitchen was clean. The yard had uncollected dog droppings as the gate is falling off and dogs can enter easily. Lots of avocados and pomegranates available for picking.
