About this property

THE ANNEX. Tranquil bungalow/gîte in hills above Begur with amazing views

This bungalow/gîte was built as the annex to the main house. On one side, there are beautiful views of the Pyrenees, Begur Castle,The Islas Medas and the Mediterranean. The other side looks out onto the lovely garden of the main property, part of which can be accessed through the patio doors from the sitting room. There is a fully fitted and equipped kitchen, fully tiled bathroom, bedroom with large double bed and walk in closet. There are fly screens on all windows and electric shutters on terrace side of house.
Car parking is on the property, access of which is through an electronic gate.

The Annex is also the perfect base for the Autumn/winter months, as central heating is available for the cooler days & nights.

This is a self check in property and you will be given the code for the key box a day or two before your stay.

In 1998 we bought the main house having chosen it for its location and potential for expansion. In 2000 having bought extra land at the side, we added The Annex.

The house is in a wonderfully tranquil setting above Begur, with beautiful views of the castle, village, mountains and the sea, yet only minutes walk from the center of Begur with its wealth of restaurants, bars and shops and everything one requires for everyday living.
