Blue Moon Chalet is the best Big Bear Cabin to host your friends and family trip.
This newly remodeled, 3BR, 2BA, two-story home feels private and secluded because it backs to the national forest. Hiking 0.3 miles away and 5-15 min drive to everything! Eat out or stay in & cook on the grill (fully equipped kitchen!) Hanging in the gameroom, on the porch, by the fireplace, firepit, hammock, or jacuzzi, this is the place to be!

Blue Moon Chalet is located in the highly-sought after area of Big Bear, Moonridge. It's quietly nestled on the south end of Big Bear Valley and surrounded by the national forest. Moonridge is home to Bear Mountain Ski Resort, Bear Mountain Golf Course, and the Big Bear Alpine Zoo.
Every year when the snow melts, Big Bear Mountain resort undergoes an incredible transition from world-class ski resort to mountain biking mecca - ONLY 2.2 miles away.
3.6 miles to Snow Summit Ski Resort
1.9 miles to Big Bear Alpine Zoo
4.9 miles to Big Bear (Lake)
4.6 miles to Big Bear Village
From the moment you arrive, you will notice our large wraparound driveway, large porch, and wraparound deck. Mornings will be a breath of fresh air with a cup of coffee or tea. Enjoy our country-style porch swing, rocking chairs, the birds, and the trees, as you enjoy some much-needed rest and relaxation.
Grill dinner under the stars on the private balcony and dine in a charming space with unique pieces (Grocery stores just 3 miles away). There are also tons of amazing restaurants nearby! Read through the Welcome Book for our personal favorites :)

Our modern furniture and custom pieces found throughout our home are sure to make this space a winner for you and your loved ones. We have included lots of games, puzzles, and blankets for your enjoyment and comfort.
Our space includes 1280 SQFT, 3 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms with enough room for the whole family or a group of friends, looking to get away from city life for a while!
Max occupancy: 10
Max vehicles: 5, however winter season only 3 because of steep driveway.

The host requires you to complete the following before checking out:
Load and start the dishwasher
Remove personal items and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
Make sure dishes are done or in the dishwasher with dishwasher running.
Make sure all trash goes into trash can in the front of house (if full, must be taken to the dump) Ensure bear lock is locked.
Leave heat to 60 degrees when you leave. Also, if your brought your furbaby, be sure that all pet waste on or around the property has been properly disposed of.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
