Wolf Springs Lodge is the best of all worlds. Situated in the pristine Anna River Valley with beautiful views of the Hiawatha National Forest, yet minutes away from all of the major attractions that make this area so well known. This fully equipped unit will sleep up to 10 people and has plenty of room to spare. A 4 bedroom, 2 full bathroom lodge featuring over 2000 sq ft of living space and acres of room to roam! Directly across from a North Country Trail trail head, access from property to snowmobile trails, less than a mile to the famous Valley Spur Ski and Bike Trails, barely 3 miles to Munising, the Pictured Rocks Cruises, The Shipwreck Tours, Grand Island National Recreation Area, waterfalls, beaches and all the downtown activities including the Summer Concerts in Bayshore Park and the twice weekly Farmer's & Artisan Market. Featuring a fireplace, outdoor campfire area, spacious rooms and a full kitchen with all the amenities, The Wolf Springs Lodge will be your home away from home. Plenty of room to park all your toys: snowmobile trailers easily turned around, bikes, toy haulers, motorcycles, canoes and kayaks, and boats so bring them along. Bedroom 1 features 1 full and 1 twin bed. Bedroom 2 features 2 twin beds. Bedroom 3 features 1 full and 1 twin bed and bedroom 4 features 1 queen bed. The living room has a very comfortable full size sofa sleeper. Beautiful tongue and groove walls and custom ceramic tile featured throughout the lodge accompany the unique decor. No detail is left out to ensure your stay is enjoyable enough to keep you coming back year after year. Relax in front of the large fireplace, we will supply you with plenty of firewood. Detached garage can store your stuff out of the elements. Paved driveway is perfect for motorcycles. Great for a family retreat or a get away for groups, large and small. A true year-round retreat, Wolf Springs Lodge can be the perfect base for you to truly enjoy all that this area has to offer. Great house for our family

We were able to get away for a week of relaxation and touring the local areas. The house was well stocked, had plenty of room, and the property was spacious. The house location was great due to being close to lots of attractions.

Perfect Choice for snowmobile trip

We chose this place for a large group of people to go snowmobiling from. It was better than we could have hoped. Plenty of room to park and maneuver trailers, isolated enough we didn't have to worry about neighbors, close to town, and slept 11 people comfortably. We had an excellent stay and would recommend to anyone looking in this area.

Great Place

Very well setup for a big group of friends, 7 of us all had our own beds. Very clean and comfortable. We relaxed by the fire after a day of snowmobiling. Fire wood was provided by owners. Easy access to the trails! Tons of room for parking and turning around big trucks and trailers. Definitely will book this house again!

Wonderful Stay At The Lodge

This was our first time in the UP and using VRBO or renting a house at all. I was nervous but from the start the owners were responsive and super helpful. The check in/out process was smooth and easy. I was a little scared when they said no AC but every night it cooled down and it was fine. They had fans as well. We had one issue with the toilet but they promptly took care of it. The space was so much fun for the kids to play outside and so close to every where we wanted to explore. We played the card and board games they kept there and really just enjoyed being together. At one point I asked for a suggestion to get water shoes and the owner even called the local store to see if they had any for us to go get. A really great place to stay - would 100% come back & recommend!

Convenient to everything

The positives were location of the property was close to downtown muinsing and pictured rock. The house was clean and just right for us. The landscape was spacious and nicely maintained. The scenery from the house was nice. On the other hand, for the negatives was no AC. We're alerted to that from the owner. But only if there was an AC would make it 5 stars. Lots of mosquitos and insects outside that makes it impossible to enjoy the fire pit or seating area day or night. Also, the water heater went out on the last night of the stay. We let the owner know in the morning and she was apologetic and was going to fix it. Overall I recommend this property and will be using it again in the future.

Amazing property!

I cannot say enough good things about our stay at Wolfe Creek Lodge! Very clean….everything we needed was there….direct access to the trails and the kids had a BLAST! Owners are amazing and we will definitely be back!

Perfect home base for Munising Trip

Property was well apportioned for 2 families with kids to share. It was private, open, good size, big yard and driveway for the kids to play outside. Close to town.

Waterfall tour

Wolf Springs Lodge was centrally located for all the activities we wanted to do. Biking at Grand Island, hiking to Chaple Beach, Laughing Whitefish Falls, and Au Train Falls. Loved the resident Sandhill Cranes that were in the yard every day.

Serene Rural Experience

We throughly enjoyed our stay at Wolf Lodge. Our purpose for visiting Munising in August 2021 was to kayak at Pictured Rocks National Park. We found this large house to be very comfortable and the grounds are lovely. We enjoyed watching the pair of cranes nesting on this property. The outside firepit was fun. There are two separate living areas which make it nice if you need to have some down time. Grocery store was fairly close. Waterfalls in the area are beautiful. Will definitely recommend this property to family and friends.

Perfect Location

This property sits just a couple miles outside Munising and is very pretty. You can launch to several different attractions easily from it. It provided lots of parking as advertised. The kitchen was well stocked with all the needed pots, pans, dinnerware, flatware, etc. The only negative issues we encoutered were that the matresses are old and uncomfortable, the upstairs living area furniture should be updated, and the TV was hard to work and kept losing reception during NBA Finals :-(. Lisa & John are super responsive and the check in process was super easy.

What makes this property unique

So close to all the major attractions! Valley Spur Bicycle and Cross County Ski Trails are less than 1 mile. Snowmobile trails can be accessed from the property. Plenty of room to park trailers, massive amounts of paved parking for motorcycles. Private and yet minutes from town and all the major tourist attractions of the area, within minutes you can be skiing, swimming, sledding, fishing, hiking, biking, eating, drinking and shopping. The privacy is amazing and the view is stunning. Custom finishing to the lodge gives you that North Country feel with all the amenities. Enjoy the crackling fire in the fireplace or in the outdoor fire pit and reminisce about all your explorations of the area that day or enjoy a beverage at the custom wet bar and relax and listen to the birds. The Wolf Springs Lodge will surely be your home away from home and you will want to return again next year and every year.
