The restored casita, originally built by the CCC in 1940, was excellent. It has been thoughtfully updated with modern amenities, including plenty of electrical outlets, a mini-split air conditioner, and a flatscreen TV. The casita was spotless and fully stocked with everything we needed. I especially appreciated the abundance of hooks for hanging gear and personal items. The entire campground was clean and well-maintained, the host was friendly and courteous, and the views from the covered porch were spectacular. My only suggestions would be to plant trees between the casitas to provide much-needed shade and to avoid the disposal of cut trees and brush over the cliff, as the debris remains visible from the campsites and detracts from the otherwise beautiful scenery.

Thanks Paula, this is great feedback. Glad the casita came together the way it did! A lot of care went into that restoration, so it's good to hear it showed, and glad the porch view delivered too. We appreciate the suggestions on the shade trees and the brush disposal!
