The host is friendly and responsive to the needs of his guests. The house is quite old but has mostly been remodeled and upgraded nicely. The air conditioning worked nicely and ceiling fans helped circulate air. The TV and sound system in the living room are amazing and made watching the final World Cup match a delight. The driveway has room for 2 or 3 cars depending on whether the host is staying in his motor home in front of the garage. Finding a rental that will accommodate 10 people near the airport during EAA AirVenture is rare, so that was a plus. To accommodate 10 people, however, requires that 4 couples share a bed, as space for air mattresses on the floor is limited and the basement is pretty much unusable. The front steps are a bit uneven but the steps down to the lovely back patio are new and nicely done. We never ran out of hot water even with multiple showers in the morning.Overall, the house is very nice and we enjoyed our stay.
