Our family had a wonderful time with 4 generations, staying so we could attend my son’s wedding in nearby Warrenton. House was very accommodating, fully stocked kitchen and high chair and pack n play were an added bonus. Hope to visit again soon.

Wonderful vacation at Pine Ridge

This was our first lake vacation and we all loved it!! We were a family from 2 to 82 years old and every one of us had so much fun! We stayed at the boat house all day fishing, swimming, paddle boarding, tubing and jumping on the trampoline. The house was perfect. The bedrooms were spacious. The kitchen and living room accommodated all of us easily. The pool table and hot tub was an added bonus! We will definitely be back!

We had a great time and loved the property. House had everything we needed. We caused our own issue and the property management team helped us quickly. If we make the trip again next year we will try to book it again!

Perfect lake getaway!!!

Our family had a wonderful vacation at the lake! The views were absolutely stunning, and we loved having such easy access to the water. We spent our days fishing, tubing, and making unforgettable memories together. The house was perfect for our family—spacious, beautifully maintained, and equipped with an amazing gourmet kitchen that made preparing meals a pleasure. One of my favorite moments each day was enjoying my morning coffee on the covered deck while taking in the peaceful lake views. Overall, this was an incredible lake getaway, and we couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. We highly recommend this home to anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable family vacation!

This pet friendly house was spacious and well appointed including a fully stocked kitchen with both indoor and outdoor dining areas! Multiple areas for congregating provided plenty of room to come together or spread out as the mood dictates. The Downstairs family and game room with pool table is a great space to retreat to especially if the weather were to be uncooperative (although our week included only a couple of afternoon/ evening showers). Hot tub on the lower patio was a plus!!Fantastic lake views from the great room and downstairs gathering area with beautiful landscaping around the house and down to the dock. The dock was excellent with two boat slips, bar, covered seating area with tv and Bluetooth sound system for your entertainment pleasure.The dock included a water trampoline, kayaks and paddle boards and all the gear necessary to paddle to your hearts content!The owner was very responsive and accommodating to our requests and needs. We had a fantastic week at Lake Gaston in a wonderful house and would do it again without reservation!

If I could give Pine Ridge Retreat more than five stars, I would.Our family and friends just spent an incredible week here, and from the moment we arrived until the day we reluctantly packed up, everything exceeded our expectations.The house is absolutely beautiful—spacious, spotless, thoughtfully designed, and incredibly comfortable for a large group. Every bedroom was inviting, the living spaces were perfect for gathering together, and the kitchen was hands-down one of the best-equipped vacation rental kitchens we’ve ever experienced. It truly felt like a home, not just a rental.The property itself is breathtaking. The views of Lake Gaston are spectacular, the yard is beautifully maintained, and the dock became the heart of our vacation. We spent countless hours swimming, fishing, relaxing in the sun, and simply enjoying being together. The quiet cove was perfect—peaceful, safe for the kids, and ideal for paddleboarding, floating, and making lifelong memories.Every detail of Pine Ridge Retreat made our stay feel effortless. Whether we were cooking family dinners, enjoying coffee overlooking the lake, watching sunsets from the dock, or laughing around the table late into the evening, this place created the perfect backdrop for an unforgettable week.The highest compliment we can give is this: by the end of our stay, we were talking about how much we’d love to buy the house ourselves.
