Great location, great hosts

It was an absolute perfect place with great views and environment. The host family was very warm , friendly and helpful. We will definitely come back again next time we are in the area if the property is available.

Best of Country & City

Property was as listed. . .and far more We could see the city of Bern beyond the fields and the alps behind the city of Bern. The city was a 15 min bus ride away, but the route was also walkable and bikeable. Groceries and other necessities are a very pleasant and short walk away w/ fresh in-season produce at a nearby farm. Franziska & Fridolin were welcoming, friendly, responsive, and went the extra mile to make us feel at home. Cannot recommend highly enough!

Countryside Beauty

We absolutely loved this property. It is in a small town outside of Bern, but it is super easy to get into City Centre within 15 minutes by car. Franziska was a wonderful host! She was welcoming and accommodating to our needs. Even when my wife injured her knee while out she reached out to her doctor for us and was able to get us into a referral only orthopedic office that gave my wife what she needed to enjoy the rest of our vacation. We can’t thank her enough for that! Our kids had a great time meeting their Bernese Thalina and their cat Toblerone. If any friends or we come back to Bern, we will definitely be back!

This property was absolutely perfect and was just as described by reviews before us. The hosts were more than helpful and very willing to answer our questions about the area as first-time visitors from the USA. A short drive into Bern to the train station and center of town attractions is worth it for the amazing views and the peaceful serenity of the village. Lots of running, biking and walking trails in the village and our teen son played basketball at the village school every evening. We cooked in the rental two nights and ate out one evening so the property is plenty equipped for cooking. Our favorite part was enjoying the back patio overlooking the adjacent farm with horses, cows and the Alps in the distance. We did not want to leave! We hope to return in the future.

Lovely property in a great location with incredible views of the Swiss Alps. We only stayed for 3 nights, but would loved to have made it longer. Great base to explore this lovely country from.

Sehr schön gelegen. Ruhige Umgebung mit vielen Tieren in der Nähe

Sehr angenehm und ruhig. Fußläufig Bäckerei, Käserei, Coop und Landi. Kurze Entfernung zur Aare zum schwimmen gehen. Tolle Aussicht auf die Berge.

Tolle Ferienwohnung, super ausgestattet und sehr herzlichen Gastgeber. Super Lage, ruhig, Bäckerei und Coop gut zu Fuß erreichbar und mit den Auto ist man schnell in Bern! Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und den Aufenthalt genossen!

Wunderbares Feriendomizil

Wir haben in diesem wunderschönen Feriendomizil unser Weihnachtsfest verbracht. Die Vermieter waren sehr herzlich und zuvorkommend. Die Wohnung ist sauber, lässt keine Wünsche offen. Sogar an einen geschmückten Weihnachtsbaum für die Gäste wurde gedacht. Der Ausblick auf die Berge vom Balkon ist spektakulär. Wir werden sicherlich gerne wieder herkommen. Vielen Dank!

Alpenblick

Ruhige und große Ferienwohnung mit 3 Schlafzimmern (5 Betten) und weiterer Schlafmöglichkeit im offenen Spitzboden. Großes Badezimmer, hervorragend ausgestattet Küche. Sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Und der Blick auf die Nordseite der Alpen ist unbezahlbar. Sehr nette Vermieterin, die uns ganz unkompliziert ein Abendessen eingekauft hat, da wegen Anreise an einem Sonntag und coronabedingt geschlossener Gastronomie keine Verpflegungsmöglichkeit bestand. Immer wieder gerne!
