About the host
Hosted by Tom Luttikhuis
Hi! 👋
We are Kim and Tom. Although we were born and raised in Twente, we’ve spent a large part of our lives in other places. Traveling is in our hearts. Meeting new people too.
After backpacking adventures and many years living and working in New York City, we are back home: in Twente.
We’re lucky to live in a beautiful spot. So beautiful, in fact, that we want to share it with others. Everyone is welcome at Erve LooSan, an oasis of peace in the fantastic Twente region.
Why they chose this property
We were born in Twente, and from an early age this region has enchanted us. The gentle hills, the wide meadows, and the dense forests – the nature here is simply breathtaking. Every day there’s something new to discover: a hidden spot by the river, blooming wildflowers in spring, or the vibrant colors of autumn.
But Twente is not only beautiful; the people here make it truly special. Friendly, warm, and always ready to share a smile – the sense of community can be felt everywhere. For us, Twente is more than just a place: it’s a feeling of home, of peace, and of joy that we want to share with everyone who visits this unique corner of the earth.
