About this property

Hillside 7-bedroom house in Sebago perfect for gatherings

Hillside retreat for family and friends, or a get-away for just two.

Access to nearby lakes, ponds and country villages.

Walking paths from the house to the top of Douglas Mountain (the highest point in Cumberland County).

Come hang out on the porch, read by the hearth, and dine around the large diningroom table with your friends and family in this historic home.

Discover this 7-bedroom house in the hills of Sebago. With a mix of queen, king, full, and twin beds, the tranquil setting invites guests to unwind and enjoy peaceful moments together. Whether gathering in spacious rooms or relaxing quietly, this home offers a perfect retreat. Relax and enjoy everything Sebago and our house have to offer.

This home has a storied history, and is registered with the National Register of Historic Places. It has old-style charm with many modern updates. It is bordered by a blueberry field where you can pick wild blueberries when in season, and you can walk to the top of Douglas Mountain from the back door. Views of sunsets over the White Mountains (Mount Washington) are a short wooded walk away.

We provide a pass to the Town of Sebago beach on Sebago Lake, and Cornish, Bridgton, Fryeburg and North Conway are all interesting towns to the west. To the east, Gorham, Portland and ocean drives are easily accessible day trips.

Although this is a large house that accommodates more people, my husband and I love to stay here, just the two of us. We read by the hearth in the evenings, and have our morning coffee on the covered porch.
Our prices include all fees. No hidden fees.

Why they chose this property

My husband and I are the third generation owning this property. My grandparents purchased it in the 1950's, and they, and then my parents, rented it for years. Previously, the Dykes owned the property from 1800 until the 1930s, when it was sold with the surrounding forestland to a lumber company.

What makes this property unique

This property originated as the annex to the inn across the country road. It is now on the National Registry of Historic Places, and has been comfortably and tastefully restored.
