Cozy chalet with infrared cabin for 3 people DIRECTLY on the forest & only 750m to the beach

Relax in the beautiful Lübeck Bay, located right next to the forest and just 750 metres from the beach. Kellenhusen has plenty to offer dog lovers. There are 3 dog-friendly beaches and a dog run just 300 metres away, right in the woods. You can take your partner, children, or dog on beautiful walks through the woods or along the water’s edge and the beach. Pure relaxation.

The small holiday complex “Am Walde” (consisting of 10 houses and 6 apartments) also features its own dog playground (a 1.25-meter-high electric fence with toys and a slalom course) and, of course, a children’s playground, so that both two-legged and four-legged friends can have fun and relax.

Our tiny “Wellness Chalets” date back to the wonderful 1970s and were refurbished in 2020/2021 with new furniture, a kitchen, TVs, a hot tub, a wood-burning stove, an infrared sauna, and much more. They feature one bedroom with a double box-spring bed (1.6 x 2.0 m sleeping area) and one bedroom with a single box-spring bed (80 x 200 cm). This second bedroom also features an infrared cabin, perfect for your private wellness experience (note: there is no closet or chest of drawers in this room). A cosy living room with a new kitchen and a warm wood-burning stove, along with a charming bathroom with a shower, complete your holiday retreat.
Each house has its own terrace and patio furniture. You’re welcome to bring your dog, but leashes are required to ensure everyone’s safety. Another highlight is, of course, our outdoor hot tub in your garden, which you can use privately.

You can also rent bicycles and SUPs (stand-up paddleboards) from us (subject to availability).

Notes:
- We have a Finnish sauna (for a fee) at our holiday complex. Due to COVID-19, use may be restricted or unavailable during your stay.
- A maximum of 2 dogs are allowed per unit (dogs must be kept on a leash both on our property and in the town/forest so that every guest can enjoy a relaxing holiday).
- Charging Station / Wallbox: We have a private, fee-based charging station for our guests in our central car park. (Max. charging power: 11 kW)

Note on billing:
- Electricity is billed based on usage at 40 cents/kWh (approx. 2–3€/day in summer, 3–9€/day in spring and fall, 10–28€/day in winter) unless you use the wood-burning stove (You may bring your own firewood or purchase it at local markets.
- The visitor’s tax is charged separately at 2–3.50€ per adult per night, in accordance with the terms and conditions of the Ostseebad Kellenhusen

Note regarding bed linens and towels:
- These are not automatically included in the booking. You can either bring your own or book them for a fee: bed linens for €12 per person and towels for €6 per person.
