Dream home in the countryside near the sea

We offer a 160-square-meter 14th-century natural-stone house that’s simply lovely—you’ll fall in love with it. It’s situated on a hillside above the village of Garlenda and the golf course, nestled among olive trees and pine forests, with a fantastic view of the Alps, yet only 5 km from the sea.
The bedroom on the ground floor, with a double bed, offers sweeping views of the Maritime Alps across idyllic Italian villages. Two additional single beds are located on the second floor next to the entrance to the rooftop terrace. There is a built-in air conditioning unit here that cools the area directly beneath the sloping roof during the summer. There is a bathroom with a bathtub, toilet, and bidet on the ground floor, as well as a bathroom with a shower, toilet, and washing machine on the ground floor.
We have deliberately chosen not to provide permanent Wi-Fi. However, there is a portable Wi-Fi device that can be topped up for a few euros. This can then be used anywhere.
On the ground floor is the large open kitchen with a dining table and the living room with a sofa, armchairs, and a TV.
Right outside the door is an outdoor area with a table and chairs for breakfast or simply to enjoy the view.
If you don’t mind the heat, you can also relax on the rooftop terrace.
But even on the hottest summer days, it cools down at night, and you can admire the starry sky from the rooftop terrace. The stars seem so clear and close enough to touch because there are no large towns with lights to obscure the view of the sky.
Most evenings are so quiet that you can hear the frogs croaking far below in Garlenda.
The house also features a spacious outdoor area with a large dining table and sun loungers, surrounded by olive trees and oleanders. Here you can relax, have breakfast, gaze out towards the sea, or, with a drink in hand, watch the golf courses in the valley and consider whether you might want to pick up a golf club yourself someday.

If you walk behind the house through the hamlet, you’ll quickly reach the forest, which leads to the Ligurian High-Altitude Hiking Trail. From there, you can hike towards Genoa or westward to Ventimiglia.

If you’re up for a challenge, you can walk down the steep path to Garlenda and, for example, enjoy a cappuccino at the Fiat 500 Club’s bar or grab a bite at the local pizzeria—then return the same way, straight through the woods, or take the longer but more comfortable route along the road.
