Holiday cottage with a thatched roof on Lake Lübbe in Templin / Uckermark, available for weekly rent from January through December. NEW: 2024 SAUNA & TINY HOUSE. Bookings are from Saturday to Saturday. The holiday home has a wonderful indoor climate—cool in summer and cosy and warm in winter. The upper floor features two open-concept bedrooms. In the open living area downstairs, you’ll find a cosy corner couch, satellite TV, and Wi-Fi. The kitchen is equipped with a dishwasher, microwave, ceramic cooktop, and dining table. The wood-burning stove creates a cosy atmosphere. The bathroom features a shower, wooden floorboards, and a toilet. A breakfast terrace off the kitchen (with an outdoor kitchen) and a large sun terrace off the living room instantly give you that true holiday feeling. The property is located 200 metres from the crystal-clear Lübbesee, where you can use a boat and swimming dock. Lübbesee is one of the cleanest lakes in the state, approximately 15 kilometres long with a pleasant sandy bottom; the shore slopes gently, making it easy to wade in. A bike and hiking trail runs around the lake that you’ll love.
The Ahrensdorf area is one of the most sought-after residential areas in Templin. Whether it’s swimming, sailing, fishing (DAV), snorkelling, scuba diving, surfing, rowing, stand-up paddleboarding, mushroom hunting (porcini, chanterelles, chestnuts...), biking, hiking, or ice skating—the local activities are diverse.
You can reach Berlin, Szczecin, or Lake Müritz in 1 hour. The Baltic Sea is 1.5 hours away.
In Templin, you can enjoy the beautiful old town with its city walls and gates, as well as shops, restaurants, cafés, a natural thermal spa, the “Eldorado” Western-themed town, and a well-developed network of bike paths. The Niederfinow Boat Lift, the Finowfurt Aviation Museum (sightseeing flights available), Lake Werbelin, Karinhall, the Schorfheide Wildlife Park, Chorin Monastery, and the watermill and Boitzenburg Castle (Renaissance) are all destinations within 15–30 minutes in the surrounding area.
The secluded, quiet 1,300-square-meter property is located in the Schorfheide Biosphere Reserve nature conservation area.
The property accommodates 4–5 people. Bed linens and towels are included.
The final cleaning fee is 80€, electricity costs 0.43€ per kWh, and there is a 35€ pet fee. Bicycle: 50€; stand-up paddleboard: 50€; paddleboat: 120€ per week (deposit: 250€); rowing boat: 175€ per week (deposit: 250€); electric motorboat: 300€ per week (deposit: 300€).
Sauna optional / Tiny house optional. In the village, you’ll find a drink store, a children’s playground, and a mini-market selling ice cream and offering a bread roll delivery service.
Check-in is available on Saturday from 3:00 PM to 10:00 PM.
Check-out is on Saturday from 6:00 AM to 10:00 AM.

Please note that open fires are not permitted on the property (thatched roof).
A charcoal grill is available. In June, long-eared owls nested on the neighbouring property.
Mushroom season kicks off with chanterelles and porcini mushrooms (May–Oct)
