Welcome to this fabulous house in Independence. With five spacious bedrooms featuring three king beds, two queen beds, and a full bed, guests will find plenty of room to relax. The four bathrooms include both bathtubs and showers, making it easy to refresh after a day of adventure. Stay comfortable year-round with air conditioning and heating throughout the house. 3 full acres of space to play on with our yard games: spike ball, volleyball and cornhole. Pickleball court and ping pong table ready for your family/group entertainment included. A fire pit for making memories and s’mores! The perfect space to play, connect, and relax! We hope you'll enjoy your stay at our house and create wonderful memories here.

This is a wonderful house for gathering family- lots of space to gather- large kitchen- extra bathrooms. An old movie star of a house that feels welcoming.

Really enjoyed the place. The pickleball court was well used. Have to be careful though as no fence yet with slight dropoff at edge of concrete. House could use some TLC. Outlet missing cover in living room (moved furniture over to prevent kids from getting in it), loose toilet lid, loose cabinet handles. Overall very happy with stay. Great place for a family get together

This was a “memorable” place to stay with my friends and their families for two days. The host was super easy to communicate with and accommodating to our request to check out at 11am instead of 10am. The beds and couches were comfortable. The price per night was reasonable. Some downsides of the house were: overflowing containers of trash outside when we arrived, dirty refrigerator with food left from previous guests, showers walls with hair stuck on, walls with holes, the 5th bedroom is in the same room as the master bedroom (only separation is a curtain), master bathroom has see-through glass doors, back door and door to the side deck were blocked off so the only way to exit the house in an emergency would be the front door, toilet in shared bathroom downstairs made strange noises, tub in shared bath downstairs filled with water while showering.

We had to vacuum one of the bedrooms when we got there. Carpets are all stained. Hair in the upstairs shower drain. Holes in the walls. The blinds were torn up in the upstairs bedroom. You don’t have access to any entrance other than the front door. They don’t want you to turn up the AC. It was so cold in there. They recommended to use the space heaters and blankets. The grass was overgrown. I felt misled. Wouldn’t stay again. The house definitely has potential. I just don’t think they are caring for it as well as they should especially renting it out on VRBO.

We stayed here with two other families for a softball tournament. Everyone enjoyed the time together and the house is unique and comfortable.

Why they chose this property

We chose this area because it offers living on acreage without the neighborhood feel but is close to anything you’d like to do. It’s 8 minutes from I70 and 22 minutes to downtown Kansas City or the stadiums. Major shopping is 10 minute away. When your home it is nice and quiet and relaxing.

What makes this property unique

Our home is a custom build in 1988. Its gorgeous brick and wood design is all wrapped around the center column in the main entry. Some call it the circle house:) it’s big and well loved. It’s quiet and comfortable. It’s large bedrooms and gathering areas totaling 4000 square feet. Designed to accommodate large groups. The yard is perfect for entertaining with plenty of parking for trucks and equipment or your toys or RV
