This cottage is an ideal getaway for anyone. It’s so nice that it is pet friendly too. Our host was in excellent communication at all times & the amenities were above & beyond our expectations. Can’t say enough about this gem!

Sunshine Cottage is such a special place! We had the best time in Seabrook, riding bikes around town, taking long beach walks, and visiting surrounding Olympic National Park. The home was clean, stocked with everything we could possibly need (and so many board games!) and we loved relaxing outside on the porch swing with our coffee every morning. The owners did a great job with the beds, linens, updated bathrooms and kitchen - they really had comfort in mind with every choice they made. Communication was excellent as well. We absolutely loved it here and would happily return.

We absolutely loved our stay at this adorable little cottage! It truly felt like a home away from home. The beds were SO comfortable, and the bedding was some of the softest and coziest I’ve ever slept in.It was about a 10-minute walk into the sweetest little town — honestly, the kind of town I’ve only ever seen in movies! And even though the cottage wasn’t right on the beach, we could still hear the ocean, which made the whole stay feel so peaceful.The host thought of EVERYTHING. If you forgot something, don’t worry — chances are they already had it there! We felt so comfortable and relaxed during our entire stay.We’re already looking forward to coming back. We absolutely fell in love with this little cottage and couldn’t recommend it enough!

This is a fantastic vacation rental. One of the best we have ever stayed in and we have experienced many! So nice, new, clean and very comfortable for my husband and I and 2 of our daughters. It had everything we needed for an enjoyable stay and we are planning to come back and stay at Sunshine Cottage in August. 10/10

Dawn was the best host I’ve ever had!!! SUPER communicative and made sure we were all comfortable and available if we had any questions. I’ve never been to a VRBO so well stocked. The kitchen had everything we needed as well as beach chairs and toys available for us to borrow. Dawn had great tips about the town to make sure we all enjoyed our stay. The house was clean, cozy and well decorated. We enjoyed the fire pit outside after our kids went to bed and had a blast!

10/10 — we’ll absolutely be back!!We had the best weekend at Sunshine Cottage. The house was beautiful, incredibly comfortable, and had everything we needed for an easy weekend away with my daughter. The beds were SO comfortable, everything felt clean and thoughtfully cared for, and the house really does have that cozy “you can actually relax here” feeling.Dawn was also wonderful to work with. She was responsive, kind, accommodating, and genuinely wanted us to enjoy our stay. She even offered us extra time on checkout day since no one was coming in after us, which meant so much when traveling with a little one.We loved being able to slow down, spend time together, and enjoy Seabrook without feeling rushed. This ended up being one of those little weekends I know I’ll remember for a long time.We would absolutely stay here again and are already talking about coming back. Cannot recommend Sunshine Cottage or Dawn enough.

Not your average VRBO rental! Beautiful light fixtures.Hand soap smells delightful.Bedding feels luxurious.Soft close drawers on cabinetry.Cutlery is unique. Never found the air freshener but it’s clearly here because the house smells magical.Touch lamps with built in chargers on the bedside. With super dim option which I’ve never seen on another lamp in addition to regular settings. Small touches like the little red fire hydrant on the corner of the yard for the dogs. Really nice bedding, luxury comforters.From games for the family to pots and pans to beach blankets and lanterns, Dawn has thought of everything you need!

The Sunshine Cottage is beautiful, clean, decorated so lovely and has everything you need and so much more.Dawn, the host, is truly a pleasure to communicate with. She responds promptly to your messages and went above and beyond to make our stay extra special. I celebrated my 60th birthday while here and she had a birthday banner hanging up as we first walked in, a balloon and a welcome that included happy birthday wishes on a cute board in the kitchen.The Sunshine Cottage is also the owners Guest House, has a beautiful and touching story behind it. After building their dream beach home here in Seaside, they built the Guest House as their way to honor their daughter Hayley, who passed way unexpectedly at the age of 19. You can visit Hayley’s Garden there on the property. #belikehaleyI highly recommend anyone visiting Seabrook with a party of 4 to consider staying at the Sunshine Cottage. I know you will love it as much as we did. Thank you, Dawn, for welcoming us into your beautiful guest house. Our stay will be unforgettable and we’ll be back very soon!The Shaw’s

This is a wonderful place to stay! Dawn and her family honored their daughter Hayley in such a beautiful way with this home. The house itself is beautiful, clean, welcoming, pet friendly so we were able to bring our small dog who is part of our family, and has everything you need, literally. The kitchen is stocked with anything you could ever want or need on a vacation, including Ziploc bags which I would never expect to find, but it was quite helpful with the toddler who snacks! In addition to the basics, they had things like children’s books, drawing paper and crayons, and all sorts of games for children and adult adults. All of these extras make spending time inside with a toddler so much better when traveling. The only thing that was tricky was in the kids bedroom there is one high up window that has no blinds or curtains, and in the summertime when it’s late until 10 and light as early as 5 AM, it felt like daylight in the room for much longer than a toddler needed it to ;) The house is also located in a great spot, near the town center, but also sits against a forest of trees as your backdrop. The back porch has a lovely large swing that’s almost like a couch, And the front yard has some great seating and fire pit, which unfortunately we weren’t able to use because of the rain. If we were traveling to the town again, I would absolutely look and recommend cottage!
