In our high-quality, modernly equipped holiday home, located right on the edge of the forest, the whole family can enjoy a relaxing holiday in Wernigerode in 80 m² of living space.<br><br>The holiday home’s location offers an ideal starting point for turning your holiday into an unforgettable experience: enjoy long hikes—for example, to Wernigerode Castle—or action-packed mountain bike tours (R1 trail, 50 m away) through the beautiful Harz National Park.<br>Other great destinations for day trips include: the Wernigerode Aviation Museum, the Hasserode Holiday Park (4 km away) with its sauna area, a ride on the Harz Narrow-Gauge Railway to the Brocken, the Rübeland Stalactite Caves, a cable car ride to the Hexentanzplatz in Thale, and a visit to the “Kleiner Harz” miniature park in Wernigerode’s Bürgerpark.<br><br>The city centre is within walking distance (about 20 minutes); a supermarket and a bus stop are located 600 metres away.<br><br>The bedrooms are furnished with high-quality box-spring beds from FBF and offer all the amenities for a restful night’s sleep. There is ample storage space in the bedrooms.<br><br>Towels and bed linens are included in the room rate.<br><br>The loft-style, light-filled living and dining area features a large glass front that offers a view of the property’s outdoor area. The large dining table provides ample space for several people. For your entertainment, there’s a large flat-screen TV with Smart TV, Netflix access, and free Wi-Fi.<br><br>The kitchen is equipped with a large refrigerator, dishwasher, coffee maker, electric kettle, toaster, ceramic cooktop, oven, and microwave. Vinyl flooring is installed throughout the house, making it easy to keep clean and hygienic.<br><br>In the morning, you can enjoy the first rays of sunshine on the terrace with a cup of coffee. In the summer, it’s a wonderful spot for sunbathing, and in the evening, you can enjoy a cosy barbecue. (A gas grill is available.) <br><br>We offer our guests a seasonal hot tub from April through October.<br><br>Upon request, we’re happy to provide a travel cot and a high chair for our younger guests. <br><br>Keys are handed over via a key safe. <br><br>The town of Wernigerode is officially recognised as a resort, which is why a visitor’s tax (€3.50 per adult, €1.75 per child aged 6–17, 50% for people with severe disabilities) /*per night) is charged. Upon arrival, you will receive the “Wernigerode-ticket” tourist tax booklet, which allows you, among other things, to use local public bus transport throughout the Harz region free of charge.
