Wonderful space to enjoy the outdoors.
Our property has some unique & magical experiences that you may not be use to, Please read the total description entirely before booking your reservation.
GETTING HERE. the A-Frame is located 20 miles from Zion National Park south entrance which is the main Zion entrance, and 9 miles from the East entrance to Zion and is within the Zion Ponderosa Resort on a dirt road. We recommend that you drive a 4-wheel drive or AWD vehicle, if it rains the roads can be muddy & difficult to drive in wet conditions.
GROCERIES/GAS. Since the A-Frame is located off of the beaten path, but the closest rental property to some of the most popular trailheads, be sure to fill your gas tank and stop at the grocery store before heading to the cabin. There is a small convenience store, restaurant and food truck, located at Zion Ponderosa Resort.
PARKING for the A-Frame is located just off of the dirt road. Be prepared to walk on slightly uneven terrain into the A-Frame cabin approximately 300 ft up and down hill.
You will be staying in an amazing little magical convertible A-Frame cabin. The cabin is off grid. Power is provided by solar and is stored in batteries. There might be limited power based on the weather conditions & cloud cover.
WILDLIFE/BUGS. Remember you will be in the wilderness, there are wild animals that live nearby as well as bugs. Since we live so close to Zion National Park we do not spray our property with any poisons, therefore you might find some bugs inside the cabin, although we are diligent about making sure the cabin is bug free, and we check before every arrival.
ALTITUDE/WEATHER. the A-Frame cabin is located around 6500ft in elevation. You will find that the temperatures will be around 10 degrees cooler than Zion Canyon. Utah has some unique weather conditions so be sure to bring both warm and cool weather clothing.
ZION PONDEROSA RANCH. You are able to access the amenities at the ranch, such as the restaurant. Activities, such as the swimming pool, hot tubs, mini golf etc. that can be enjoyed with a small resort fee. The resort regularly has live music through out the summer.
