Hiking trails pass right by the cottage and provide a good starting point for many beautiful mountain walks in Sjusjøen. In the center there is a store, a restaurant and also a state of the art fitness center that offers the best fitness facilities to all guests. For those who are interested in fishing, there are many fishing opportunities here. Drive a bit inland into the mountains to explore all the exciting fishing opportunities. The river Åsta is only 20 minutes by car from the cottage. Here you can catch trout. Kroksjøen and Sjusjøvannet are fishing spots within easy reach. For city experiences, Lillehammer is only a 30-minute drive away. There you can visit Maihaugen, Hunderfossen family park, Lilleputthammer and the Olympic bobsleigh and luge track.
