Our house, which features two very cosy apartments, is located on the outskirts of Bensersiel. It stands completely on its own, right in the middle of the East Frisian marshes, and you’ll enjoy the wonderful view of the fields and meadows every day. The sunset will “haunt” your dreams all year round.
You can reach all the attractions Bensersiel has to offer within a 15-minute walk. We provide a handcart for your beach gear and for the kids.
The “Nordseetherme Bensersiel” is located right along your path to the beach. Not even a stone’s throw away is the spa park, through which you can walk past the harbour to the beach facilities. There you’ll find the beach itself, complete with an adventure playground and the “Kunterbunt” children’s centre, the seawater wave pool, the maritime sports theme park, and the circus tent for the kids. Also brand-new is the beach portal, featuring a covered beach area and additional recreational and informational offerings.
You’ll also find plenty of shops—for example, in the Deichpassage—as well as restaurants and cafes along your short walk to the beach.
Whether you’re here for a holiday or a health retreat, we’ve got you covered. Very close to Bensersiel lies Esens, the “parlour” of the Harlingerland region. You can reach Esens by car, but it’s even better to take the “back route” through the marshlands via the “Hammerweg” or cycle along the idyllic “Kajedeich” beside the “Benser Tief.” Wonderful tours await you.
The fantastic offerings of Bensersiel are complemented in Esens by the over 475-year-old “Ritterstadt” (knight’s town) with its historic town centre. Here you’ll find a wealth of events—both large and small—as well as museums, restaurants, and shopping opportunities.
In general, our region is ideal for long walks, bike rides, and explorations of East Frisia’s unique natural landscape. This way, you can enjoy an active yet relaxing holiday by the North Sea and make the most of the North Sea’s invigorating climate.
There’s also plenty on offer for your health: wellness classes, fitness, and exercise classes at the Vital-Aktiv-Center; or treat yourself to a beauty day and let yourself be thoroughly pampered.

Check-in is available from 2:00 PM to midnight, and check-out is from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM.
