Einfach nur schön

Wir waren für ein verlängertes Wochenende in der Region, um Bamberg zu besuchen. Die Nähe zu Bamberg war zunächst unser Hauptkriterium auf der Suche nach einer Unterkunft. So kamen wir sehr schnell auf das Torhaus. Wir fanden eine außergewöhnlich saubere, modern und hochwertig ausgestattete Wohnung vor, ideal für zwei Personen. Wir fühlten uns von dem von anderen Gästen mehrfach bewerteten "Straßenlärm" in keiner Weise belästigt. Im Gegenteil, wir fanden es sehr ruhig. Zum Einkaufen gibt es ca. 5 Autominuten entfernt einen sehr gut sortierten Supermarkt. In Rattelsdorf selbst fanden wir Restaurants. Bewerten können wir diese leider nicht, wir haben immer in Bamberg gegessen. Die Mechanik der Türöffnung erschien uns nicht ganz einfach, aber nach mehrfachen Versuchen hat auch das funktioniert. Man ist tatsächlich in ca. 20 Minuten im Zentrum Bambergs. Das Einchecken war etwas irritierend. Obwohl wir unsere ungefähre Ankunftszeit mit 17-18h vorab angaben, war unter den uns bekannten drei Telefonnummern niemand zu erreichen. Unter Zuhilfenahme eines zufällig anwesenden Mieters und den Nachbarn in der nächsten Umgebung, die das Haus des Vermieters kannten und diesen holten, kam dieser und händigte uns dann den Schlüssel aus. Man sollte deshalb evtl. besser am frühen Nachmittag einchecken. Insgesamt war der Aufenthalt aber sehr entspannt und wir werden, sollte es uns wieder zu einem Besuch in diese Gegend verschlagen, auf jeden Fall wieder im Torhaus übernachten.

Historisches Gebäude mit schönen gemütlichen Appartements

Grundsätzlich sehr positiver Eindruck, ... mit wenigen "Mängeln"! Als erstes: ... ein sehr interessantes Gebäude mit langer Geschichte, wurde in mühevoller Arbeit wieder restauriert. Respekt an die Umsetzung dieser Arbeit! Gemütliches Gesamtbild der Wohnung, hier kann man sich wohl fühlen! Kleine "Mängel": ... Warm-/Heißwasser in der Küche funktioniert fast nie. (keine Spülmaschine vorhanden dadurch eine schlechte Kombi) Der Fernsehempfang bricht regelmäßig ab. Ein "Kleiderschrank", der seinen Namen leider nicht verdient. Ein paar Gläser und Teller dürften es mehr sein. Die Sauberkeit in der Küche (vor allem an den Gläsern, pp.), an den Oberflächen, und Böden der Wohnung = "na ja". Bad, Bett, Bettwäsche, Handtücher dafür sehr sauber! Preis/Leistung passen! *** Grundsätzliches, man wohnt in einem Torbogen. Durch die dauernd durchfahrenden Fahrzeuge entstehen nicht unerhebliche Geräusche, ... Tag und Nacht, ... das sollte man wissen, wenn man geräuschempfindlich ist. *** Alles in allem = empfehlenswert, auch durch die Nähe zu Bamberg, und dem angemessenen Preis! Danke!

Wohnung zum wohlfühlen

Wir haben die 5 Tage vor Ort genossen. Die Wohnung wirkt im Sommer 2021 frisch saniert und ausgestattet. Selbst die Elektrogeräte sind hochwertiger, als man in einer Ferienwohnung erwarten würde. In Rattelsdorf selber haben wir uns nicht viel aufgehalten. Die Umgebung mit den Flusstälern des Mains und der Itz laden aber zu Radtouren ein. Wunderbar einkehren kann man in den Biergärten der Region. In vielen Gaststätten wird sogar noch selber gebraut : )
