Ferienwohung mit Eigener Terrasse und Herrlichem Ausblick

Update Oct. 2021: We recently set up a new double bed with new mattresses in the apartment. There is also now a larger TV, as well as new kitchen appliances (kettle, Senseo coffee maker, and toaster).

A one-room ground-floor apartment with a separate entrance and a beautiful view from its own terrace in the garden. You enter the apartment through a pretty courtyard via your own front door.

Amenities:
There is a small coat closet in the entryway. Right next to it is the small bathroom, with a sink, toilet, and shower.

The living room/bedroom is spacious and features a 1.80 m wide double bed, a nightstand, and a clothes rack. The sleeping area is separated by a room divider.

The living area has a lovely open layout, featuring a fully equipped kitchenette, including a stove, oven, refrigerator, and microwave. A round dining table with 4 chairs is provided for dining and relaxing.

The living area also features a sofa and a TV.

The apartment has central heating.

From the living area, you have direct access to your own terrace with seating, from which you can enjoy a magnificent sunset.

The house is located on the outskirts of Mechernich-Gehen, in a quiet area on a small street with very little traffic. In addition, the neighbouring town of Kommern offers various shopping options less than 1.5 km away.

Wohnung wie beschrieben

Prima Lage in der Eifel, es gibt soviel zu unternehmen in der Nähe, nette Vermieter, gern ein dritter Besuch schon bald Wenn einen Dinge stören, so kann man diese direkt klären, dafür ist die Kommunikation gut und wichtig. Gruß Fuhrmann-Nolte

Eigentlich Erholungsurlaub

Leider konnten wir uns nicht erholen. Es gab einige Mängel die ich dem Vermieter geschrieben habe. Die Terasse war schön aber an einer viel befahrenen Straße. An den heißen Tagen konnte man es draußen nicht aushalten da es nicht mal ein Sonnenschirm gab. Und Nachts war an Schlaf nicht zu denken da der Kühlschrank extrem laut ist. Das Haus ist sehr schön, aber für uns gab es keine Erholung dort.

Nette Wohnung für günstiges Geld

Der Checkin verlief problemlos über eine Schlüsselbox, die Anleitung dazu kam pünktlich per Mail. Die Wohnung liegt ruhig in einem Teilort, nicht weit von einer Straße, die aber nicht weiter stört. In kurzer Entfernung (ca. 5 Min mit dem Auto oder 15 Min zu Fuß) findet man viele Supermärkte, einen Bäcker und Drogeriemarkt. Das ist toll! Eine Straße weiter von der Wohnung kann man bei einem Hof sogar frische Eier u. a. kaufen. Die Lage ist auch prima als Startpunkt für Ausflüge in die Umgebung. Zur Wohnung: Die Größe und Aufteilung ist gut, leider kann man ohne Ohrstöpsel kaum schlafen, da der Kühlschrank und Boiler so laut brummen. Das Bett war bequem, bis auf die Kissen. Es sollten einige Geräte und Utensilien unbedingt erneuert werden (Nachttischlampe geht nur mit einem Trick an, Knopf an der Senseo fehlt, kein Toaster vorhanden, Pfannen sehr zerkratzt, TV funktionierte erst nicht, bis wir das lose Kabel entdeckt hatten, die Wassereinstellung in Bad und Küche sehr umständlich, dauernd ist der Wasserdruck abgeflacht und man konnte die Temperatur schwer regulieren). Die Wohnung bedarf einer Grundreinigung, die Oberflächen hatten teilweise eine dicke Staubschicht, die Küchenschränke sollten ebenfalls ausgewischt werden. Auf den ersten Blick hat die Wohnung aber einen sauberen Eindruck gemacht. Durch wenig Aufwand könnte man sie zu einem kleinen Schmuckstück machen.

Check-in verlief problemlos über eine Schlüsselbox. Beim Eintreten fiel uns schmutziges Geschirr vom Vormieter in der Spülmaschine auf. Wir stellten diese erneut an, allerdings blieb das Geschirr schmutzig. So musste von uns alles per Hand abgewaschen werden. Ein Familienmitglied des Vermieters kam auf Nachfrage am darauffolgenden Tag vorbei. Die zwei Tassen im Probedurchlauf wurden dann zwar sauber, allerdings blieb das Problem bei mehr Geschirr tagedrauf bestehen. An unserem ersten Urlaubstag wurden wir frühmorgens von Baulärm am Haus geweckt. Der Vermieter hielt es leider nicht für notwendig uns vorab zu informieren. Der Fernseher funktionierte auch die gesamte Woche nicht, da, laut Vermieter, das Baugerüst das Signal stört. Auch hier kam nur auf Nachfrage der Hinweis. Zusätzlich zu erwähnen ist, dass die Ofentür nicht richtig schließt, das einzige Nachttischlicht nicht funktioniert und dass wer geräuschempfindlich ist, ohne Ohropax nicht zur Ruhe kommt, da Kühlschrank und Boiler nicht gerade leise sind. Wir hätten es schön gefunden, vor allem aufgrund dieser Umstände, wenn wenigstens ein persönlicher Kontakt zu Stande gekommen wäre. Unser persönlicher Eindruck war, dass sich der Vermieter nur sehr wenig für seine Gäste und die Wohnung interessiert. Zum Glück hatten wir die ganze Woche großartiges Wetter und in der Nähe viele schöne Tagesziele. Aufgrund unserer Erfahrungen können wir für dieses Objekt leider keine Buchungsempfehlung aussprechen.

Unterkunft mit Garten, alles Notwendige vorhanden. Zentral gelegen, Einkaufsmöglichkeiten Auch zu Fuß zeitnah zu erreichen. Wir hatten eine schöne Zeit. Preis/Leistung gut. Vielen Dank

Schöne Lage und Privatsphäre

Aufgrund eines Wasserschadens in meiner Wohnung, wohnte ich 4 Wochen bei Familie Geschke. Sie waren sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend und haben all meine Fragen sofort beantwortet. Das einzige, was ich sagen muss, ist, dass die Matratze schwer durchgelegen ist und ggf. ausgetauscht werden sollte. Das war für mich als Rückenpatient etwas ungünstig. Alles in allem ist die Unterkunft toll und günstig gelegen und sehr empfehlenswert. Danke, dass ich da sein dürfte.
