A Warm Welcome! Haus Wiesengrund is a small, family-run inn. It features eight holiday apartments and is idyllically situated in the beautiful Bavarian Forest village of Frauenau, nestled in the magnificent low-mountain landscape of the Bavarian Forest, within the Nature Park and adjacent to the Bavarian Forest National Park. Experience an unforgettable stay and enjoy the beautiful landscape and boundless forest wilderness of the National Park in all its uniqueness. Nowhere else in Europe can you find a landscape quite like that of our homeland. You’ll be welcomed into quiet, tastefully furnished accommodation. All apartments feature a balcony, shower/toilet, a spacious kitchenette, a cosy sitting area, satellite TV with 30 cable channels, and free Wi-Fi. Starting in September 2025, Apartment Type E will feature an infrared sauna with a relaxation area. This 52-square-meter, allergy-friendly apartment has been awarded a 4**** rating by the DTV. The bedroom features a double bed and a cosy armchair. The large, bright living room features a large flat-screen TV, internet radio, a comfortable couch with an armchair, and a well-equipped kitchenette. The south-facing balcony is accessible from the living room. The apartment can also be booked for three people. Please feel free to contact us if needed. Payment is due in cash or by debit card upon arrival. Check-in is available between 2:00 PM and 11:00 PM. Check-out is available between 6:00 AM and 10:00 AM. Keys will be handed over in person on site. Tourist tax: Adults 1.90 EUR/day (ages 17 and up) and children 1.25 EUR/day (ages 7–16). Pets are not allowed. A cot can be provided free of charge upon request. An extra bed can be provided upon request for a fee of 28 EUR per night.
