Our beach house (a personal vacation home - not an investment property) is a light-filled retreat with beautiful furnishings, quality linens, spacious open plan living areas with 12' high ceilings and excellent indoor/outdoor flow. 3 large coastal bedrooms (king, queen and twin) with inbuilt storage, 2 modern bathrooms (1 en-suite) with huge separate showers plus a hall WC closet near the separate full-sized laundry room.

Plenty of room for all the family to chill around the free-form private pool & hot tub The special non-slip pool surface complements the 'beach access' that allows the young (and not so young) to enter into the water without any steps and starts at 2 inches deep! The tropical planting gives areas of both sun and shade and at night-time the palms are automatically lit to enhance the ambience of the backyard and pool area.

Upstairs, guests will love to use the granite finished, fully equipped kitchen with custom cabinets. Great-room opens onto generous lanai with outdoor dining.

By the pool you can enjoy the large entrance level patio, sun loungers and gas BBQ grill, wall mounted TV & ROKU services. Over-sized double garage with remote access, beach chairs, beach toys and beach cart too.

A pearl of a property within 2-3 blocks (3-4 mins walk) to the idyllic, soft, white sand of the Gulf beaches with their breathtaking sunsets, towards the north of the Island. A peaceful neighborhood only minutes walk from restaurants, bars, shops and galleries of Holmes Beach. Free Island Trolley-Bus stop is just round the corner.

Absolutely perfect.

We had a fabulous time at pearl. The place was spotless well equipped and comfortable. Mike and Lesley were full of useful advice. We just wish we had booked longer than a week to try out all the things/restaurants that are available to try on the island. We did our best though..We also wish we could have found out sooner that you can pop into the bar at the beach bistro and order a cocktail to sit out front to watch the sunset.

Stunning home in a great location

Thank you to Mike and Lesley for all your help. Excellent location, short walk to beautiful beach and great local restaurants. The house itself is stunning. Every need was catered for and we loved the interior decor. Pool and hot tub were lovely. We had a great time, and hope to return.

A wonderful home from home.

From the moment we arrived we felt at home, the villa is beautifully styled with everything that we needed for a great holiday. We were a family party of 3 generations and the villa suited us all. Great pool area where we held a poolside birthday party. Our grandchildren didn't want to leave the pool! Mike and Lesley answered any queries we had very quickly, and the information given was comprehensive and very useful. We would recommend to any of our friends and family, as long as they took us with them!

Home from home but better !

Our friends and ourselves have had the great pleasure of spending time recently in this lovely home. It certainly felt like home from home but better !. So comfortable and everything you could possibly need. My husband came home with a wish list of having a garage and fridge as large as the ones there !. Anna Marie Island is lovely and so relaxing. The beach is fantastic and the bird life is wonderful. All in all an excellent break. Must also add that the owner, Mike, was most helpful. Cannot rate the home highly enough.

The perfect holiday home by the beach

The pictures donot do this house justice. It is truly beautiful. It has everything you could need for a holiday stay. The cupboards are stock with the little extras that mean you dont have to immediately rush to the shop. The rooms are spotlessly clean and have a real homely feel , not like a rental at all! You can actually image you live there(well for a week at least). The pool is fabulous and the spa is a bonus. It is a 5 min walk to the beach and beautiful sunsets. The free trolley bus is two houses away at the top of the street. There is no negatives about this place. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a perfect holiday home. Hope we can do it all again soon. Thank you Micheal and family for letting us stay. The Saunders family -uk

We enjoyed our first vacation on Anna Maria Island in April 2013 and just fell in love with ........everything! We returned that summer for another vacation and decided to celebrate our upcoming 30th Wedding Anniversary (our Pearl anniversary!) by buying a vacation home on AMI.

For the final week of our summer stay we toured the island together on a tandem cycle, getting to know every street and visiting Open House events. On returning home we took to Zillow and found "our Pearl" on-line and decided to buy it - sight unseen.

By the end of October 2013, we were the proud owners of a vacation home on AMI. As we entered for the very first time, we knew we'd made a great choice and the name was clear to us both " A Pearl of a Beach Home" (in Holmes Beach!).

Why they chose this property

Our wonderful Realtor, Marianne (Island Real Estate) looked the place over for us and told us "the camera doesn't lie! Great internal layout, spacious outside spaces, high ceilings, quiet neighborhood, central on the island and close to the beach."

What's not to love?

What makes this property unique

The location is great and the lack of a pool back in 2013 was actually a real bonus. It allowed us to design our own, include a spa and beach access and add a special non-slip surface. We added mature planting and lighting in the backyard which gives privacy and a sense of tranquility.

A short, flat and safe walk to the beach and an even shorter walk to the nearest stop for the free island Trolley service make getting round the island real easy.
