Nice stay in the Eifel

The house was very clean and everything was there. You do need a car for shopping. But it is not far. Just 5 km.

Wonderful stay at Mary's Cottage!

This lovely cottage was amazing to stay in, it was in immaculate condition and we were left some spaghetti to have for dinner the night of our arrival. Both Marianne and Gunther were lovely to share a space with as they made us feel welcomed and comfortable from the get go. Marianne's English was superb and she was always willing to help us and answer our questions. We couldn't have asked for better hosts! The area both within and surrounding the town is full of endless things to do and see making the location an excellent spot! We really recommend this place to other couples! :)

Our stay at Marys Cottage

What an enchanting little cottage. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and would recommend to couples. The owner Marianne is the best and will do her utmost to make your stay a happy and pleasurable experience. A welcome basket of groceries, ingredients to make a meal, fresh flowers,wine and chocolates on your pillow make it all feel so romantic. Also very very clean and beautifully decorated. Friendly village with a lovely pub which serves good food. Lots of places round and about to visit and Cologne ( Koln ) an easy train ride away with it's magnificent cathedral. The stairs to the first floor and bedroom are more like ladders so not really suitable for small children and the elderly.

Ich hatte eine sehr schöne Zeit in dieser liebevoll eingerichteten Unterkunft, konnte von hier aus herrliche Wanderungen in der Umgebung machen. Es mangelt an nichts, ist perfekt sauber und in gutem Zustand. Die Gastgeberin ist sehr nett und zuvorkommend, hier fühlt man sich wohl. Man muss mit den etwas beengten Treppen zurechtkommen, aber wenn man ein wenig sportlich ist, stellt das kein Problem dar. Eine absolute Empfehlung!

Dieses Häuschen verschafft einem schon beim ersten Betreten ein heimeliges Gefühl. Es ist wirklich an alles gedacht bei der Ausstattung, und man sieht in jeder Ecke, mit wieviel Liebe zum Detail dekoriert und eingerichtet wurde. Auch für Familien mit Kindern geeignet, wenn diese nicht zu klein sind (aufgrund der steilen Treppen) und wenn man okay damit ist, dass es kein separates Schlafzimmer gibt und somit quasi alle im selben Raum schlafen. Die Umgebung bietet viele Möglichkeiten für Ausflüge, auch bei nicht so tollem Wetter. Empfehlen können wir den Hochwildpark Rheinland und das Freilichtmuseum (beides in Kommern), die Kakushöhle bei Mechernich oder einen Ausflug nach Bonn (sowohl zum Haus der Geschichte wie auch zum Museum Koenig). Wir haben eine Woche in Sinzenich verbracht und uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Volle Empfehlung!

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Ausstattung ist perfekt,es hat an nicht's gefehlt. An die Treppen gewöhnt man sich schnell. Der Ausgsngspunkt für Ausflüge und Fahrradtouren waren super. Und dann noch die die super nette Marianne. Wenn es passt immer wieder gernen.

Besser gehts nicht!

Unser Aufenthalt war sehr angenehm. Das Wohlfühlhaus ist sehr sauber, gemütlich und liebevoll eingerichtet. In der Küche ist alles vorhanden was man benötigt. Kleine Aufmerksamkeiten inklusive. Trotz unseres nicht mehr ganz so jungen Alters war auch die Holzreppe zum kuscheligem Schlafboden kein Problem.Darüber hinaus konnten wir unsere Pedelecs gut und sicher unterstellen.Die Gegend ist sehr zu empfehlen, man kann wirklich viel unternehmen.Vielen Dank dem super engagierten und herzlichen Vermieterpaar!
