Welcome to the recently renovated and reimagined Sanibel Anchor Inn & Cottages. Less than a mile to multiple beaches, this is the ideal location to stay when visiting Sanibel.

These A-Frame cottages are one of the most iconic locations on Sanibel. When you book one of these rooms, not only are you in the heart of all the action on Sanibel, you are staying in a true island experience. Each of these accommodations has been tirelessly decorated and filled with quality amenities for your enjoyment. Each A-Frame offers a fully enclosed bedroom with a queen bed, a loft with a queen bed, and a queen sleeper sofa. It also offers smart TVs, a kitchen with a full fridge, and a dining table.

Free perks consist of loaner beach gear and bikes, plus parking for boats and trailers (A-Frame Cottages Only). Amenities include an outdoor heated pool with a sundeck, shuffleboard court, picnic and BBQ areas, and much more.

We are a local family on Sanibel Island that owns and operates the Anchor Inn & Cottages. We've owned vacation rental properties for years and recently started with our first hotel, The Anchor Inn. We've poured our hearts into renovating this project, and it shows throughout every detail on the property. You'll often see us at the property running the office, cleaning up, or meeting guests. The Anchor Inn & Cottages is right in the heart of all the action on Sanibel. We're within a couple of hundred feet of some of the most popular restaurants on the island. Also, we're right next to the Bailey Homestead Preserve, offering a beautiful nature walk and experience whenever you desire. At the Anchor Inn, we offer free bike rentals, so anything that you want to do on Sanibel Island is easily accessible throughout its 25 miles of bike trails. Two popular beaches are just a 5-minute bike ride from our location, with many more within a 10-15 minute bike ride. To add to this fantastic location, The Anchor Inn is situated on over 2 acres of land, with more than half of it dedicated to natural areas and a pond teeming with wildlife that you can see when walking throughout the property or some of the Pondview rooms.
