We’ve converted our historic granary into two charming holiday apartments. These apartments are located on the ground floor of the half-timbered building, offering a beautiful view of the golf course and the surrounding nature. Here, right next to the Bentheim Forest, you can even see deer and roe deer roaming through the fields. For guests who enjoy nature watching, we’ve set up a hunting blind. The apartment has its own ground-level terrace that invites you to enjoy undisturbed peace and quiet in the countryside. The Spieker is situated on the hotel’s spacious park grounds. This allows you to enjoy the amenities of a holiday apartment combined with the comfort of the hotel. You can order your breakfast rolls from us and, of course, enjoy breakfast from our buffet. On the sun terrace or in the restaurant, you can savour our homemade cakes, and if you’d rather take a break from cooking, let our chef spoil you with his fresh, seasonal cuisine. As soon as you leave the courtyard, you’ll be on the “Dinkel Bike Route,” which also leads to the nearby Netherlands. You can borrow cycling route maps from us, and bicycles are also available for rent. You can park your own bikes in the barn, and if they’re e-bikes, you can charge them there as well. You can park your car for free near the apartment. The Bentheimer Forest is perfect for long hiking tours. You’re welcome to play our 9-hole hotel golf course (no handicap required, but you’ll need your own equipment) or stay in shape in the fitness room. You can relax in the sauna, steam room, or under the solarium. You also have the option to book massages with an experienced therapist (if you’re interested, please make an appointment in advance if possible). All in all, there are plenty of opportunities to relax and unwind.
