The home is also conveniently located near several of the city’s other colleges, including USC Upstate, Spartanburg Methodist College, Sherman College of Chiropractic, Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine, and Spartanburg Community College. With three bedrooms and two full bathrooms, Glendalyn House is a wonderful setting for college visits, graduations, family weekends, and relaxed getaways. The home is also well-suited for longer stays, offering the comfort and space to truly settle in.
The home features three inviting bedrooms. The primary bedroom includes a queen bed and private en suite bath with a classic tiled tub surround. Soft natural light filters into the shower through a frosted privacy window. A second bedroom offers another queen bed and easy access to the adjacent hall bath. The third bedroom includes two twin beds, ideal for children, friends, or travel companions.
At the heart of the home is a thoughtfully designed, high-end kitchen that is both beautiful and functional. A gas cooktop, premium appliances, and generous counter space make cooking effortless, while the large center island with seating for three provides the perfect gathering spot for conversation and casual meals. The adjacent dining area features a round wood table with seating for six, creating a warm and welcoming place for shared meals.
Just beyond the kitchen, the comfortable TV room offers a relaxing place to unwind. A plush L-shaped sofa with oversized ottoman and four cozy swivel chairs make movie nights and relaxed conversation easy, while a 60-inch streaming television allows guests to enjoy their favorite shows.

Just off the kitchen, the private screened porch is one of the home’s most cherished spaces. With comfortable seating and its own television, it is a perfect setting for morning coffee, afternoon reading, or evening relaxation. Occasionally, a friendly neighborhood cat (or two!) may wander by to say hello, which adds a small and charming touch of the neighborhood’s character.
The elevated front stoop, with its two welcoming chairs and softly glowing gas lanterns, offers a lovely vantage point to enjoy park views, tree-lined sidewalks, and the gentle pace of life in Converse Heights.
