What a vacation story! We're so glad that despite a major storm—and one very curious bear—your family had such a wonderful time at the home. Thank you especially for recognizing our maintenance team. When the storm caused the unexpected roof leak, we're glad they were able to arrive within the hour and get everything cleaned up. We're also grateful our maintenance team happened to spot your furry visitor climbing into the car and could quickly help encourage her back out! Definitely not the vacation wake-up call anyone expects. Your experience is also a great reminder of just how clever our Smoky Mountain bears can be and why keeping vehicle doors locked is so important. We appreciate your comments about the hot tub cover and jets and will share those with the homeowner for evaluation.
