Our Dampferblick holiday home is located in the beautiful small town of Meissen on the right bank of the Elbe, right next to the bike path. The holiday home is a great starting point for wonderful excursions in the surrounding area.
The train station is about 1.2 km away, and the historic old town—with Albrechtsburg Castle and the cathedral—is about 2 km away. Everything your heart desires is within a 10-minute walk. From shopping to restaurants and even pharmacies, these amenities make your stay and evenings here truly enjoyable.
The nearest major city is the world-famous Dresden, about 23 km away.
In addition to Dresden and Meissen, visitors can of course look forward to many other destinations. Take a steamboat ride to Saxon Switzerland for hiking, where the Bastei and Königstein Fortress await you. You can also follow in the footsteps of *Aschenbrödel*, a popular Christmas-time film, and learn more by visiting Moritzburg Castle.



Holiday home:

The rooms of the Dampferblick holiday home are spread across 3 levels, totaling 75 m². All rooms have blinds or blackout shades.
On the ground floor, next to the entryway, is the large bathroom. On the ground floor, you’ll find the living room, equipped with a flat-screen TV, a radio with CD player, a seating area (table with 4 chairs), and a sofa bed that sleeps 2 people, as well as the fully equipped kitchen with a stove, dishwasher, microwave, fridge-freezer, coffee maker, electric kettle, and toaster. On the top and final floor are the bedrooms and a small bathroom with a toilet. There is a single bed in the entryway. In the adjacent bedroom, 2 additional people can sleep in the double bed. In addition, bed linens and towels, a hair dryer, and an ironing board with iron are available for your use free of charge. Upon request, a travel cot or high chair is also available.

The 170 m² courtyard is the perfect place to unwind. A grill is available on the beautiful, spacious terrace for cosy evenings. In addition to free use of the garage, 2 bicycles are also available for your use.



On-site costs: Payment is made via bank transfer. A prepayment of 40% of the total price may be charged at any time after booking. Check-in is available from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Check-out is by 10:00 a.m. Keys are accessed via a door code. Once payment is received, I will send you the door code via text message. Pets are not allowed. A cot and high chair are available free of charge upon request. Services included in the base price: Bedding & towels, garage parking space, Wi-Fi. A tourist tax of €1.50 per person per day will be charged separately.



Check-in is from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and check-out is from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.
