I consider myself a "citizen of the world." I am trilingual in English, French, and Italian. My career took me from Canada to the fast-paced world of CNN New York, where I served as the Wall Street Anchor before moving to CNN International as a global news anchor.

After years of traveling the globe—from the tranquil shores of Bali to the historic streets of Europe—I fell in love with Santa Rosa Beach 20 years ago. In 2016, I began building my dream home here, completing this luxury Florida beach house in 2021. For me, this stretch of the Gulf Coast is a truly magical place that rivals any destination in the world.

Why I Chose Blue Mountain Beach: A Story of Manifestation
The Birth of "Ocean Breeze"

They say if you can dream it, you can build it. Long before this home existed, I was "manifesting" it. During my travels, I would buy luxury linens and coastal decor for a "beach house" that didn't yet exist—much to the amusement of my husband and children!

In 2016, when I stood in front of this specific lot, the area was still quiet and undeveloped. But the moment I felt the incredible Florida ocean breeze on my face, I knew this was the place. I chose this lot for that feeling alone, and "Ocean Breeze" was born. While I believe I also manifested my three wonderful children, this home is a close second in my life’s greatest achievements!

An Italian’s Approval: The Neighborhood Vibe

Being born in Italy, I have very high standards for a proper pizza. I can honestly say that I don't miss the wood-fired pizzas of my homeland as much because of Mimmo’s 30A. It is just steps away, literally a 3 minute walk and offers a high-end atmosphere with a menu that is truly world-class. My favorite thing to do? Order a fresh pizza and bring it back to enjoy a sunset dinner on our private rooftop or the back porch.

Music, Energy, and Community

The energy of this neighborhood is infectious. We love heading over to Red Fish Taco for live music—it’s a special place for our family, as they’ve even let my daughter (a talented musical artist in Atlanta) take the stage!
