The Space:

This well-appointed top-floor vacation rental getaway is located at Leeward Key. It is located across the street from the Gulf of Mexico. It features breathtaking views of the Gulf and tropical landscaping from the balcony and the living room. To access the Gulf-front balcony, you just take a stroll through the living room. Tile flooring is featured in the living room, kitchen, dining area, and bathrooms. The primary bedroom has a private bathroom with a jetted tub.



Other unique features included in the rental unit are Corian countertops, a double-door refrigerator, stove, oven, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, dishes, pots, pans, and utensils, so cooking any meal is easy. The round solid wood table has seating for game playing or dining, and additional chairs are at the bar. For nighttime entertainment, turn on one of three TVs or pop a DVD in one of the three players. This condo also has the additional benefit of a stackable washer/dryer.

Wonderful 12th Floor View

We had a wonderful time. The guest services team was very responsive to our two (2) onsite requests. The property could use a little updating here and there, but generally very enjoyable.

Heaven on the 12th floor

Unit 1204 had everything you needed. My only complaint was the master bedroom bed. That needs replaced asap!! The beach out front was absolutely amazing😎

Needed new couch that is Quality.

Love location & facility. Needed new couch that would be high quality. The one in 1204 was a piece of junk. We had to go to Lowe’s & buy plywood to put under cushions.

We booked thru VRBO, but property managed by Vacasa. Had a horrible time getting any responses from the property manager. When we arrived at 5:15 on a Sunday, the unit had not been cleaned or serviced. Luckily we found a person still working at a local office, otherwise we would have had to choose between cleaning the place ourselves and having no clean linens or leaving and trying to find another place to stay. The property manager failed to respond to over 20, yes twenty attempts to get resolutions. This was the absolute work check in and management experience in over 20 years of traveling. I will NEVER book through Vacasa again. It took over a month to get a live personal to call me back and that only happened because I documented to them the repeated attempts to contract them. We were told the owners had just left and that the unit was not even set up to be cleaned, eventhough we had booked the place months in advance. The view was amazing. After the unit was serviced, it was clean and the unit itself and the location was great. But, Vacasa as a company has a lot to learn. Do not take a chance with them. It could ruin your trip.

Not as advertised. Old Pics used to advertise. Arrived to find old, rundown, musty smelling condo

Went to celebrate the life of a loved one we lost. The outside of the building at the Leeward Key was great. The inside was so disappointing. Old, rundown, musty smelling, dirty condo. Toilet running, clogged sink and tub, filthy stained carpet in the master bedroom, furniture all beat up, inside of kitchen drawers were filthy, icemaker didn't work, TV in the living room and guest bedroom didn't work and the only channel that came thru was FX....not a good channel for 60-year-olds, and the list goes on and on. Whenever we communicated with Vacassa, basically all we got was a "canned" answer/response. One day it raine and we were stuck in the condo, it was not a good day. No TV, no ice, etc. Small bags of ice could be purchased for $4.00 a bag for very small bag.. The tub in the master bedroom is old and the drain is rusted. We tried to spend most of our time at the pool and the beach. KUDOS to the caretakers of the pool and the grounds. We recorded our stay, the drive down, coming and going at the condo, etc. To our surprise, after we were well on our way driving home, we get a call from the Vacassa office. They left a message saying there was an issue with the arm bands. Luckily we documented the condo as we found it and how we left it, as well as all 3 arm bands being left in the condo. I called the Vacassa office back 3-4 times to discuss the message they left me about the arm bands, but 4 days later, still haven't heard anything from them. Recommend DO NO RENT condo.

Great location

We enjoyed our stay over the 4th of July weekend. Everything is conveniently located. We prefer this side of Destin, because the kids can rent golf carts, mopeds, bikes, scooters etc and drive up and down the strip vs. West side of Destin (all hwy). Awesome view and great stay.

The place was beautiful we had a issues

The view was amazing, we enjoyed the condo for the most part. The gulf was crystal clear, the pool was refreshing. The issues we had was the pull out bed was filthy and couldn't be used so we had to buy an air mattress, and we washed our clothes only to find out the dryer was most working. I called for maintenance and I was told a maintenence guy would come up but he didn't show. I called the next day and he showed up but there was no way.to repair the dryer. That really sucked Other than that we had a great time.

Property is beautiful and well kept. Condo needed a little attention.

Liked the set up decor and location of this unit. Beachside pool and restroom are amazing! Units dishes were put away dirty to point of us having to go buy scrubbers and soak hardcore to use. Cheaper than buying a pan we couldn't take home! Also potholders had gunked on food as well. Shower curtains needed cleaning. Visible spots on curtains. And 4 coat hangers for a place that sleeps 7? Loved our stay, the beach, and Leeward Key!
