The Space:

Shiplap and sliding barn doors are just some of the unique touches you'll find inside this spacious waterfront condo in Orange Beach. You'll also be treated to a renovated laundry room, as well as updates to the balcony, sliding glass doors, windows, dishwasher, and the icemaker. On the subject of the balcony, it is nicely decorated, so you'll want to open the sliding glass doors and enjoy it like an outdoor living room. On-site, you'll have access to a host of Summer House amenities, including a large, split-level outdoor pool, as well as an indoor pool, a large hot tub, a fitness room, and a sauna. Omni tennis courts and basketball hoops are also on-site and ready for a little friendly competition.



For family-friendly fun times, you'll find mini-golf, bumper boats, and go-karts at Adventure Island, less than a mile from this condo. Experience regular live entertainment and ride the Ferris wheel at The Wharf, just six miles away. And if you're looking to spend some time outdoors, explore the 6,500 acres of Gulf State Park, accessible via the Hugh S. Branyon Backcountry Trail, less than two miles down the road, or take a drive down to Bon Secour Wildlife Refuge 16 miles west.

Fabulous!

So cute, just like the pictures, and only 30 seconds to be from your room to the sand. Safe and right in the middle of everything. Property was just as described, beds comfortable and well stocked kitchen. Highly recommend!

Property is perfect, Management is terrible

The property is clean and updated. No complaints at all with the physical property. The management company Vacasa, however, is a nightmare and makes the property not worth staying at. The washing machine malfunctioned and locked all of the clothes inside. I contacted Vacasa 3 days before checkout and they never sent anyone to help. I will be avoiding any property managed by Vacasa moving forward.

Nice condo!

The unit was nicely decorated & well equipped except for a hairdryer. Beds were comfortable and I loved the decor. We enjoyed the spacious patio with the amazing ocean views. My only negative is the exterior condition of Summer House in general. It is very much in need of paint and some TLC. Otherwise I definitely recommend this unit.

Great place! We ended up staying a extra night!

Summer House was great! Perfect views and condo was updated. The only negative I had was we were on the 3rd floor and it would take the elevator a long time to get to the ground or 3rd floor. (there are 15 stories and only 2 elevators for the the whole unit) we took the stairs a lot but only because we were on the 3rd floor. Right across the street from two or three shops which my kids loved and grocery stores very close as well.

Great girls trip at Summer House

Had a great trip to Orange Beach... Loved this unit.. Kitchen had everything we needed, loved the ice maker, patio was spacious and comfortable. The only negative remarks would be that the DVD remote didn't work probably needs batteries, the dryer doesn't vent out of the unit so it gets really warm when you dry your things.... Also didn't realize that the indoor pool was not near the beach... It would be nice if they heated the outdoor pools so everyone could enjoy them near the ocean.. Especially since they are only 3 ft deep.... Great and very clean unit....

Nice Condo! Perfect for a family!

My family went to orange beach to celebrate my little boy's 7th birthday! We loved it! The balcony furniture is perfect.. Tons of seating! You get to enjoy the views as a family comfortably. Kitchen had everything we needed and more! Although, there were a few plastic plates in the cabinet that had food that appeared to have not came off in the dishwasher. Decorations were perfect. Only thing that could be improved ( and I use that word lightly because the condo is great) is adding curtains to the two guest rooms. The light from the outside walkway shines right in the room even with the blinds closed. Overall a fantastic stay. Wish we could have stayed longer! Definitely will book again if we visit orange beach again.

Dirty needs work

If you want to sleep on stained sheets and mattress and sit on dirty furniture, this is your place. Refrigerator didn't work the first 24 hours. Not enough towels for 8 people. Vacasa answers when you call, they just don't send anybody out right away.

Bugs. Nasty stains on furniture, blankets, and a pillow. Mildew throughout the rental. So much dust. The place smelled like mildew. We contacted the renters and they told us 3 days in a row someone would come and clean but no one did. We drove 10 hours and spent a lot of money to deal with that. They told us we could leave and put in a request for a refund, but there was no guarantee it would get approved??? We had children from 1 year old to 6 years old. The renter was not helpful getting anything done. We were very upset with the experience.
