Important Guest Tips for the Perfect Stay: To help you pack and prepare for your ultimate lake vacation, please keep these unique features in mind:
Bring Swim Shoes: The short, beautifully shaded, and grassy trail down to the water—as well as our rustic wooden dock—can be tough on bare feet. We highly recommend all guests wear swim shoes or sturdy water sandals to fully and comfortably enjoy the waterfront.
Bring Your Own Clean Watercraft: Though we have for use the following manual watercraft: 2 kayaks, 3 canoes a row boat and paddle boat, we welcome your own manual watercraft including paddleboards! To protect the health of our beautiful lake, all outside watercraft must be strictly inspected for invasive aquatic species before entering the water. Motorized boats of any kind are not permitted.
Booking & Rental Policies: To keep our operations organized across multiple booking platforms, we utilize OwnerRez channel management software. Because of this, we require all guests to complete two standard steps after booking:
Rental Agreement: Guests must sign our independent, supplementary rental agreement.
Security Deposit: A temporary security deposit hold will be placed prior to arrival to protect the property against accidental damages.

It's our family vacation property. We built it to memorialize the matriarch of our family, who died in 2022. The property is named after her, J Rose Pines, and her intelligent and kind spirit will always be present in this space. She was born and raised within a couple of miles of the property. J Rose cherished the property, which helped her raise her 3 kids to appreciate the beauty and serenity of the north woods.
