Let me start off by saying the location was perfect. Close to restaurants and the beach, right on the strip. The host was also communicative, no real issues there.Our issues came from the room. Small things that are always included with a VRBO such as salt or paper towels (there was a very small amount left when we got there) were not found. There was Kuerig coffee maker yet no coffee (which is not common in my experience in VRBOs). No toaster (but that's a hit or miss at these places). Their absence required us to run to Publix to fetch said salt and paper towels.We saw 3 cockroaches throughout our stay which had the added benefit of the reception of multiple dirty looks from my girlfriend due to their presence. There were stains on the comforter which led to a Walmart visit to buy a queen sheet set. As far as quality of the room, paint stripping in areas in the bathroom. Aluminum foil on some of the inner windows and multiple broken blinds that allowed anyone at the front door from outside to peak in to the bedroom to watch you sleep (which also earned me a baleful glance from the girlfriend). It basically just felt like there was no budget to improve upon the place from the previous existing living situation.That being said, these items are fixable and I hope their fixed for the next tenant. The location really was nice and I wish more care would have been paid to our visit.
