This approximately 74-square-meter holiday rental is located in Frankenau, Northern Hesse, in a holiday park situated directly adjacent to the Kellerwald-Edersee National Park. The apartment is on the ground floor of a holiday home with a total of two units. If booked together with the “Lix” holiday apartment, the entire house can be used, for example, for larger family or group holidays. Separate entrances ensure privacy for each unit. The house is situated in the holiday village of Frankenau at the very top of the hillside, offering a magnificent panoramic view of the valley and the national park town of Frankenau. The hiking trails through the Kellerwald-Edersee National Park begin right behind the house. All guests looking to enjoy an active holiday with family or friends will find plenty to do. You’ll find wonderful places to visit in the surrounding area. Lake Edersee, featuring one of the largest dams in Europe; the Kellerwald-Edersee National Park, with its magnificent hiking and biking trails; and the towns of Frankenberg, Bad Wildungen, and Korbach, with their beautiful half-timbered architecture, are just a few of the attractions in the Waldeck-Frankenberg region. Are you looking for a short getaway to slow down as an alternative to city life? You’ve come to the right place! When the weather is nice, you can enjoy a magnificent panoramic view surrounded by nature on the attached terrace. There is no through traffic in the Frankenau holiday village. The holiday home and its attached living unit are located at the very top of the Sternberg. As a self-catering guest in your holiday apartment, you can order a bed linen, towel, and dishcloth package in advance when you book (rental fee applies). This way, you’ll save on luggage and your holiday can begin right away. Firewood can also be ordered on-site if needed. The Mimo & Lix holiday home underwent extensive modernization in 2020/2021 following the takeover. We hope to welcome you here someday and wish you a wonderful holiday in advance.

The apartment features 2 bedrooms with a total of 4 sleeping accommodation (1 double bed and 2 single beds). The naturally lit bathroom features a modernised shower. The open-concept living/dining area offers seating for 5 at the dining table and a cosy couch area with 2 separate armchairs. This makes it the perfect spot to spend a cosy time by the fireplace.

On the adjoining terrace, you’ll find wooden benches with a matching table so you can enjoy your breakfast there. You can also simply soak up the sun in the provided garden chairs and relax.
