We had a wonderful stay at The Bygone Hotel. The views from the property are fantastic! We spent the evening lounging on the pool deck enjoying the scenery and making friends with some fellow travelers. The hotel itself is rather small, so there was no overcrowding in the pool, lawn, or den areas. Our room was cozy and super cute with everything we needed, including mug a decent sized refrigerator, robes, and decent storage space. The Location is great, less than a five minute drive into the heart of Wimberly shops, etc. Despite their not being a front desk on site (check-in is handled via text system), we were easily able to get our needs met through a quick text to facility staff. 100% will be back for our next Wimberly trip!
