Our beach estate is located on over an acre of land, just one house back (a quick 30 second walk down a sandy beach path) to one of the best white sand beaches in Hawaii. This is the only beach in Hawaii to consistently show up as one of the top ten beaches in the world lists. Unlike most beaches in Hawaii our beach is mostly free of tourists so you can actually have space and relax. On weekdays you will virtually have the entire beach to yourself!
Our 2200 sq foot home neighbors some of the finest properties on Oahu, just doors down from where the Obama family stays when they come to Hawaii. One of the very few properties that is actually a LEGAL vacation rental and has been since the early 90's, so you can be assured that your rental will be available when you arrive!

Our two story house offers Ocean and Mountain Views, one house back from Kailua beach, 30 second walk down a sandy beach path. We are also just about a 5 mine drive to the famous Lanikai Beach. Escape to Kailua, a small beach town located just 20 minutes from Honolulu and Waikiki, truly away from it all!
Our home features high speed wireless internet, two flat screen tvs, Hawaiian koa wood cabinets, marble, and crown molding, modeled after the historic residence next door. There is a NEW window A/C unit in the master bedroom (it's the only bedroom that has ac as it doesn't face the ocean) and screens on all windows and fans throughout the house.
There are two large lanais one upstairs (with ocean and mountain views) and one downstairs. Brand new deck as of October 2024. The house is situated on an acre of land with lush landscaping, allowing ample room to lay out in the Hawaiian sun or let the kids play. The yard has beautiful plumeria trees, red hibiscus bushes, orchids, and of course, a coconut grove.
The house has one King bed, two queen beds and two twin beds. We also provide a pack n play if needed. It has two full bathrooms, one with a tub/shower combo the other with a walk in shower. The master bedroom (king bed and a twin) and one full bathroom are located upstairs where the kitchen, dining room and living room are. The other two bedrooms and second bathroom are located on the first floor. The second bedroom has a queen bed and the third bedroom has a queen and a twin.
The kitchen is stocked with everything you need to cook. It has a full sized oven, four burner cooktop, refrigerator/freezer, microwave, dishwasher, toaster and coffee maker. The kitchen has four barstools, perfect for hanging out while meals are prepared or for casual breakfasts. The dining room table seats six and there is also an outdoor patio set complete with tables and chairs with an ocean view. New sectional couch in living room.
A full sized washer and dryer are located inside the house for your convenience as well.
We have one security camera located outside to the left of the front door that monitors the driveway to ensure guest and property safety.
No parties or gatherings allowed, will result in immediate cancellation of your booking without refund. Quiet hours from 10pm to 7am daily

The pictures of the house do not do it justice. The property is beautiful and clean. The location could not be more perfect. It was a great set up for a family or two couples with kids. We will 100% be booking this property for all of our Oahu travels.
Perfect for our family vacation! It is a very lovely historic home with all of the amenities needed. Even had a nice blender for smoothies! The proximity to the beach with the private backyard was wonderful. The vibe in Kailua was also the perfect spot for our family. Crystal was so communicative and quick to respond. We had a plumber come in while we were there to fix the shower and everything was communicated perfectly and we were able to work around the work. Would absolutely go back! Thank you.
Overall, a great stay! The house is spacious and has fun decor (the downstairs bathroom's porthole window was a favorite), and the location is PERFECT for relaxing on the beach as it really is steps from the sand. Shout out to the outdoor shower and its hot water as well! There were plenty of towels, kitchenware items, etc., and the living room ottoman's games/toys/book collection was a nice touch. The back porch was also perfect for enjoying the sunrise or sunset with a coffee or cocktail. Only caveat to consider (which is common across all rentals! but just be aware) is that the rooms downstairs get a little warm at night, even with windows open for the tradewinds. If you sleep hot like my husband and I, I would say AC units would be a nice touch, but again, the tradewinds do a decent job. The house was a perfect fit for our family (6 adults, 1 little one), and we'd happily stay there again!

This is a wonderful place for a family vacation (in my case, three generations). Very well stocked. Steps to a beautiful beach with very few people on it. Paradise!
My family and I stayed here and we had an amazing time. The house was clean and a great location, especially to watch the sunrise from the beach. Crystal was amazing and responsive with all our questions.
The property is beautiful with amazing beach access. We loved Kailua and made amazing family memories. Found so many fantastic things to do and being in Kailua made everything so convenient.

Inside overall was nice and well maintained considering it's an historic property. Lack of air conditioning does take some getting used to but primary bedroom a/c made that room very comfortable. Kitchenware was clean and more than adequate for simple, fun meals on the 2nd floor lanai looking out to the ocean. Beds were very comfortable (real mattresses) for a great night's sleep. Beach chairs, umbrella, etc, made beach trips a breeze. Grounds and neighborhood, as well as proximity to beach were excellent. Mahalo!
My family and I really enjoyed our stay here. The property location was perfect! It is just steps from the beach. It is also very close to Kailua Town with lots of spots to eat and shop. We would definitely recommend it and would stay here again!
My parents own our lovely Kailua beach house. They purchased the property in approximately 1984 and my dad actually built the vacation rental beach house when I was a child.

The main house next door is a registered Historic Residence, built in 1928. It originally was the Mark A. Robinson family beach house, the family who has owned the island of Ni'ihau since 1864. When my dad built the guest house he mirrored the architecture and design of the main house. Staying on this property is truly enjoying a piece of history.
