About this space

Safely harbored in a quiet cul-de-sac, our guesthouse sits just northeast of downtown Moscow. The 'Lighthouse' is trimmed with seaside decor and lets in plenty of window light for a bright and airy space, and includes all the basics for a comfortable, relaxing stay.

The space

This little townhouse was built in 2006 and shares only a garage wall with another unit. Carpeted upstairs , it features three bedrooms on the second floor, including a master suite. The main floor has a living room with a gas fireplace, a half bathroom, full kitchen and large pantry, and a dining area which opens out onto a small fenced backyard.

The kitchen is equipped with all appliances, including dishwasher, microwave, toaster, blender and coffee maker, as well as dishes and cookware for your own meal preparation.

Keyless entry makes self check-in easy at any time of day.

Garage, driveway space and street parking are all available.

The house is about 2 miles from the University of Idaho.

The Lighthouse was one of those places where you could tell the hosts had genuinely thought about what would make their guests feel comfortable and cared for. They were incredibly accommodating, and it felt like every little detail had been considered. The welcome basket was such a thoughtful touch—not just snacks, but easy foods like ramen and microwave mac & cheese for those moments when you arrive hungry or realize you forgot to plan something. The house was also stocked with things we didn’t even know we’d appreciate until we needed them: extra stools, tons of games, great books, a huge variety of movies, and even multiple ways to make coffee. One of our favorite surprises was the location. At the end of the road are amazing trails that wind through beautiful fields and lead to the Palouse-Clearwater Environmental Institute. Having such a gorgeous place to walk and explore practically right outside the door made the stay even more special. More than anything, we felt less like renters and more like honored guests. There were so many small, thoughtful considerations throughout the house that made our stay easy, comfortable, and genuinely enjoyable. We would absolutely stay at The Lighthouse again and highly recommend it.
