Swimming Safety The Beach House comes with access to paddleboards, kayaks, and beach toys — everything you need to make the most of your Lake Erie waterfront. Equipment is available for guest use at no extra charge, so all you need to bring is sunscreen. Please note that all water equipment is to be used at your own risk. We ask that all guests follow proper water safety practices, especially when children are present. Life jackets and supervision are the responsibility of the guest. The Beach House and its hosts assume no liability for accidents or injuries related to water activity.
Water & Septic Info The Beach House runs on a cistern water system—the water is, filtered, clean and drinkable, but it’s stored in a holding tank. We monitor it remotely to ensure it doesn’t run out, but we do ask guests to be mindful of usage. For waste, we also have a holding tank system. So please, toilet paper only down the toilet—no wipes or extras.
Internet Access We’re in a peaceful rural spot, and with that comes the occasional Wi-Fi blip. It’s generally reliable, but we want you to know ahead of time, great for streaming and casual use, but if you're planning to work remotely, it's good to have a backup plan just in case.
Lakeside Living Being in the countryside close to the lake means you’ll be close to farm fields and there's lots of moisture, so expect nature! In spring, harmless gnats can swarm if lights are on and doors/windows are open, so keep them shut. Mosquitoes, flies, and other bugs are common in warmer months, so bring repellent. Our cleaners do their best, but a few flies or spiders may still sneak in, it’s all part of lakeside living!
Cleaning & Safety Your health and comfort matter to us. That’s why we follow a detailed cleaning and sanitization process after every guest checkout. Everything’s fresh and spotless when you arrive.
Firewood We love a good fire too. Firewood isn’t included, but it’s super easy to grab nearby for about $6 a bundle from friendly local vendors.
Our prices include all fees. No hidden fees.
