Conveniently located 15 miles north of Raleigh, step back in time to the 1870s and experience the charm of our beautifully restored colonial home. Dip in our pool, rock on our front porch & have coffee or have breakfast with us. Either way, it all good...

The pool was super nice! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Loved going to the self-service farm stand across the street and the pizza from Owl’s Roost. Can’t wait to come again!

We stayed one night in order to attend a nearby wedding. The house was excellent, and we wished we had set aside more time to enjoy it's charm. The pool looked amazing! The house was huge! Everyone had their own space, which was very nice, but plenty of space to hang out (if we had actually stayed longer). What was more amazing was our hosts - they really went out of their way to make us feel welcome, and upon arrival was a lovely basket of goodies to welcome us. If I'm ever in the area again, there is zero doubt that we would look to book this house. 5 Stars!!

The communication was terrible. The neighbor came over, saying that he was breaking into the house and into the pool. Someone came in the house while we were renting the house. We left to go do something, and by the time we came back.Somebody went in the house, taking pictures of our stuff. And they were late letting us in

We so thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The location is really quaint!!! We walked to town and got a coffee in the morning and then went to the farmers market across the street. Fantastic!!! House is really cool with great accommodations. Pool is beautiful. Beds were new and great! The kitchen needs coffee mugs and a scrub brush but otherwise good!If we make it to the beach next year we will make this our halfway point and stay a day or two longer!
