A separate apartment with a sunroom and a bathroom with shower, featuring its own entrance on the same property, can be booked additionally upon request.

A beautiful, very quiet town in the heart of the Hochtaunus Nature Park, offering plenty of recreational opportunities and home to approximately 2,850 residents.

The beautiful Hochtaunus region offers the highest air and water quality!

Thanks to the town’s absolutely peaceful yet central location—in the heart of Hesse and thus in the centre of Germany—it serves as an ideal starting point for both holiday stays and business trips.

Frankfurt am Main, Frankfurt Airport (FRA), and the main train station are only about 30 km away.

Spa towns such as Bad Homburg v.d.H., Bad Soden, Königstein, Kronberg, Wiesbaden, and Bad Nauheim—with their attractions and spas—are in the immediate vicinity.

The Rhine River and famous destinations such as Rüdesheim am Rhein, the vineyards, etc.
are also only about 60 km away. The B8, A3, A5, A66, and A661 are just a few km away.

Selters/Ts. is about 25 km away and can be reached via the B8 in about 20 minutes.

From here, you can experience the Taunus at its best. Dense forests, wild and romantic valleys, small streams, ponds, meadows, and fields, along with plenty of places to stop for a break, await nature lovers and outdoor enthusiasts.

A well-developed network of trails with over 2,400 km of quality-certified hiking trails in the magnificent forested mountains.

The house is located about a 2-minute walk from the edge of the forest, right on the Taunus-Schinderhannes Trail. You can hike along the route of the UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Limes, on the Limes Adventure Trail starting right from here.

A beautiful outdoor pool with crystal-clear, heated spring water, a large sunbathing lawn, and shady trees is only about 5 minutes’ walk away (open from mid-May to mid-September; admission is not included in the rental price of the holiday home).

Within walking distance—about 5 minutes’ walk—is a bakery with a café, Italian ice cream, a selection of groceries, and a Hermes package service.

There is also a doctor/general practitioner and a dentist within walking distance!

Also within walking distance are a stationery store with a post office, gift items, stationery, magazines, and newspapers,
a ristorante/pizzeria with delivery service, as well as another pizzeria with delivery service.

In Glashütten/Ts., approximately 2 km away and accessible on foot or by bus, you’ll find all shopping options, including a Rewe supermarket, Aldi (discount store), butcher shop, flower shop, pharmacy, doctors’ offices, as well as various restaurants, an auto repair shop, and an Esso petrol station.
