Our house, featuring a lovingly furnished 3-room holiday apartment, is situated in a sunny and central location. The town centre is easily accessible in about a 5-minute walk. There you’ll find numerous shopping options and restaurants, as well as the outdoor pool, the festival hall, the tourist information office, and the spa gardens. Doctor’s offices and the pharmacy are also located in the town centre. Here you’ll also find several ski and bike rental shops. Our house is situated right next to the Sonnenloipe cross-country ski trail and the starting points for numerous hikes and bike tours. Members of our outdoor team will accompany you free of charge on regularly scheduled hikes and bike tours. Scheduled hiking buses will take you free of charge to our crystal-clear swimming lakes or to the starting points of beautiful mountain and alpine pasture hikes. <br>As a holiday guest, you can also use the toll road to the famous Winklmoosalm free of charge with your car.<br><br>Your benefit as our guest: We are a partner property/business of the Reit im Winkl Swim Card. The approximately 70-square-meter holiday apartment, featuring a fully glazed gable front and a magnificent view of the surrounding mountains, is located on the top floor of our house. Suitable for up to 4 people, the apartment consists of a living room, two separate bedrooms, a bathroom with shower and toilet, and an entryway available for our guests’ use. The kitchen, which is integrated into the living room and features an exhaust fan and standard kitchen utensils such as a kettle and coffee maker, is equipped with a refrigerator, freezer compartment, microwave, ceramic cooktop, and a dishwasher. In addition, the living room features a sofa set and a dining area. The first bedroom is furnished with a double bed, two nightstands, and a wardrobe, while the second bedroom has two twin beds and a wardrobe. Additional amenities: This non-smoking apartment, accessible only by stairs, is allergy-friendly; therefore, we unfortunately cannot accommodate pets.<br> Reit im Winkl: A Climate Resort According to Wikipedia, the designation “climate resort” is awarded to “locations whose air and climate, according to an expert assessment, possess qualities that are beneficial for relaxation and health.” Reit im Winkl was designated a climatic health resort in 1956 and has consistently met the criteria for this designation ever since through its ongoing efforts. One key factor is its elevation, which ensures that summer heat remains moderate and nights stay pleasantly cool. The town is surrounded by extensive mountain forests of the Chiemgau Alps and, in terms of its general climate, belongs to the “Bavarian Alps” climate region. The character of the weather is decisively determined by the local conditions—that is, by the influence of the mountain ranges and valleys on weather patterns. In addition to the natural conditions that ensure good air quality, we actively work to preserve the fresh mountain air by utilising natural heat sources and providing ample bus service.
