My husband and I have been staying and using VRBO for a dozen years now. I have to say this is probably the smoothest, and best experience we’ve ever had. Our children and grand children live in different states and we don’t get to see them often so when we had the opportunity to have everyone together for a few days, we decided we would try our luck and head north for a true Lake experience. Our host was exceptional in his timely responses to all our questions. When we arrived we were blown away by how pristine and beautifully laid out the Home was. Their position on the Lake and the view were perfect! The younger grandchildren enjoyed the beach and shallow area, as well as all the beach toys which were provided.The adults took full advantage of the paddleboard and the kayaks. Thanks to a pontoon which we rented we had glorious afternoons and evenings out in the middle of the lake. It was an idilic time for our family. On a side note, after so many years of renting through second and third parties, it was a real welcome change to actually meet the host and experience the friendliness and warmth extended to us during our stay and especially on our last evening when he dropped by and we got to actually meet him in person.
