Unwind at Mountain Lakes Resort in a rustic Alpine Ranch chalet with an amazing view of the horses grazing below. The historic and famous Alpine Helen is just a few miles away and there is much to see in the beautiful North Georgia mountains.
Guests find a cozy main floor bedroom with a queen bed and a spacious loft with 2 twin beds, plus a living room with a sofa bed in most units. Each unit has a full kitchen including microwave and coffee pot, and a bathroom with tub/shower. The space stays comfortable year-round with heating and A/C. This fantastic spot offers a welcoming retreat for your next getaway. The resort offers many amenities including 2 outdoor pools, an indoor pool, putt putt, weight room and more! ** It is important to know that there is an AMENITY FEE REQUIRED to enter this private resort. The cost for passes is $8.00 per day per adult (16 & over), $5.00 per day per child (6 to 15), children 5 and under are FREE. CALL MICHELLE TO MAKE ARRANGEMENTS AND PAY FOR YOUR PASSES. Everything was amazing with our stay. If we needed anything June and her husband were there. Alot to do on the property even tho we didnt really have time to check out everything but will definitely be back.

I stayed here with a group of friends and we loved it. Listing says it sleeps 6 and the property lives up to that promise, with 2 twin beds, a queen master bed, and a large pull out sofa. Our unit was clean and fully stocked for our stay except for some missing forks. It wasn’t very modern, but the appliances (dish washer, washer and dryer) worked well and the TV has Roku. The owner was very responsive when we needed help checking in and the resort area is huge. All of the staff was friendly and theres plenty to do without even leaving the resort, such as several pools, a diner, a general store, fishing locations, and horseback riding. Its a great place to stay on a budget and we wished we could have stayed longer.

The unit we stayed in was very outdated and needs a few things to be replaced. -Bed mattresses were worn out and most of the furniture needs replaced. -Stairs to the front door are a bit risky for elderly folks. -Trim the trees a bit out back for a better view of the meadow.-The fireflies were fun to watch!-The 8 per day per person for swimming was a bit much I thought.

It was a good place to stay… not luxury but I was not expecting that because the price was so reasonable! The chalet was clean except for some mud smeared on the bathroom floor in front of washer. Location was great. Only 20 minutes to Helen. I would book again.

We had a nice stay at Alpine Ranch Villa. The chalet was reasonably priced and surprisingly spacious for our small family, providing ample room to relax. The property around the rental was beautiful and great for morning and evening walks. The host was attentive and always responded promptly to any questions we had throughout our stay.The only downside—outside of the host's control—was that several resort amenities were closed for repairs during our visit, including the waterslide, diner, internet service, and spa. Families, like ours, who are planning to spend most of their time enjoying the resort activities may want to call ahead and specifically ask about any closures. We did not see any notices on the website, and nothing was mentioned when we called to confirm our resort passes. Some may want to note that many of the resort facilities are aged and needing some updates. Despite the limited availability of some amenities, we still had a good trip and enjoyed the clubhouse pools and game room. Overall, it was a pleasant stay, and we would consider returning.
