About this property

Jabulani Bushhouse - with a real African feeling

The “Jabulani Bushhouse” is a holiday home in Marloth Park, right in the heart of the African bush—just next to Kruger National Park!

The Jabulani was built in the traditional thatched bush lodge style—you’ll feel and see the true essence of Africa!

Our holiday home is a private residence and is always rented to only ONE group at a time: whether it’s a family, a couple, a single traveller, or a group… up to 6 people.

In Marloth Park—and right around the house—you’ll encounter giraffes, zebras, monkeys, and wildebeests, as well as warthogs, guinea fowl, zebra mongooses, and more. Since Marloth Park is a nature reserve, pets are NOT allowed.

The Bushhouse has three spacious bedrooms with three adjoining bathrooms. On the ground floor, there are two guest rooms (1 queen-size bed or 2 single beds) with en suite bathrooms (shower/toilet). Each bedroom has its own unique character and has been lovingly decorated. Every room is equipped with air conditioning and a ceiling fan. Upstairs, you’ll find a gorgeous bedroom with a large double bed and an open-concept bathroom featuring a shower, a freestanding bathtub, and a separate toilet. This room offers a variety of fantastic views through its many windows out into the treetops of the bush. You also have access to the balcony and the “wooden deck,” which wraps around the entire house.

On the ground floor is the kitchen, equipped with a gas stove, oven, refrigerator, toaster, and everything you need to showcase your culinary skills. Between the living area and the kitchen, a dining table seats up to 6 people. From the sofa in the living area, you can enjoy an unobstructed view of the bush landscape. A fire pit with a barbecue (braai) is located right next to the house.

The “Jabulani Bushhouse” is a smoke-free home.

You can do your grocery shopping at two small stores in Marloth Park. If you’d like to eat out, there are several local restaurants in the immediate vicinity within the park where you can enjoy excellent food at fair prices.

Upon your arrival, you’ll be warmly welcomed by Nono, our housekeeper—she’ll show you everything you need to know in and around the house. Nono is responsible for the daily cleaning of the house. She also offers a laundry and ironing service.
