Two Bedroom Queen/twin Suite- Historic Lodge on the North Umpqua River

Idleyld Lodge has welcomed travelers along the legendary North Umpqua River for generations, standing proudly across from The Narrows where “thundering waters” have drawn anglers, adventurers, and families for over a century. With its warm pine-paneled great room, striking stone fireplace, and timeless lodge character, it has long served as a gathering place in the heart of Idleyld Park — a gateway to world-class fishing, scenic waterfall trails, and Oregon’s most breathtaking river corridor.

Today, the lodge offers thoughtfully restored accommodations including two pet-friendly two-bedroom suites with private baths, private guest rooms with en suite bathrooms, an upstairs apartment with kitchenette and private entrance, and a fully remodeled two-bedroom retreat with its own patio and dog run. Whether you’re casting a line at sunrise, hiking moss-covered paths to cascading waterfalls, or unwinding by the fire after a day outdoors, Idleyld Lodge is your basecamp for unforgettable river recreation and peaceful mountain air.

As a family-owned and operated lodge, we are deeply committed to honoring its history while carefully stewarding it for future generations. Our goal is simple: preserve the spirit of this historic place, support our local community, and welcome every guest as if they were family — ensuring Idleyld Park remains the magical haven it was always meant to be.

Our stay at the Lodge exceeded our expectations. From the moment we arrived, Craig and Robin made us feel welcome with their warm hospitality. We were pleasantly surprised to learn they offer a light breakfast, which was a wonderful way to start each day.Our room was clean, spacious, and very comfortable, and the bed provided a great night's sleep. We truly enjoyed our stay and can't wait to return to the Lodge. Highly recommended!

2/10 Terrible

I rated this terrible because they were burning plastic voted cardboard in their open fireplace and the smoke, which was probably toxic, was spreading, including under the door of our room. We left and didn’t stay the night. Someone owes us 150 dollars The room was fine (except for the smoke). It was clean and comfortable, but not what was shown on the web The person who checked us in didn’t even work there and had no clue that we had a Rez. It looks like this an older place that is under new management who is working to upgrade.
